  • I have got no end to tell the OR as iv given up my job for financial reasons (not to avoid an IPA) just that my wages were only just paying my childcare and there was not point in working just for that .

i have now got to the point where im just thinking oh heck im just going to tell them whatever they want to know and also the stress and problems that come with fretting constantly about everything dont do you any good .

so its chin up for me and just get back on with my life.:j

Yeah i understand that but your creditors cant tell you when to file if this worries you then perhaps changing your number may be an idea (i did) and so have a few others on here .

also how else are you supposed to save up the fees and manage to live for the next month or so

the OR's are human as iv been told and many are compleatly understanding of alot of situations.

Only if you are sure you can afford it and you are ready. Make sure there are plenty of appointments at court as they are very busy. Also think about Xmas you know... If you think you could wait till after Xmas and have that extra bit of money for yourself..... The OR wont even bat an eyelid you know. And if they do.. tell them !:p
I should be able to afford it nex month as I would have a month in hand and It is less than the IVA anyway which I would have been paying

Will the IP charge me for ending the IVA early?

Also, when I go bankrupt I will still have two payments left on my council tax for December and January and similar for water. Do these come into the bankruptcy? Do I put them down as debts?

I thought it was income payment agreement  Im new to this but am looking through the site and slowly learning!

There are two variants of basically the same animal:

IPA - Income Payment Agreement and

    IPO - Income Payment Order

I was given the form for the latter (IPO) I think it maybe had something to do with the fact that it was one of my creditors who petitioned for my br, rather than me.
No IPO was issued, as I have no income, but I'm not sure if the OR can issue it once I find work. Any ideas?

If there is a charge - this would, normally, be included in your br debts.

But the difference being that I am in an IVA. They may think that I was just trying to get away with payments for a month before filing around christmas

If you default on an IVA then you are at risk of bankruptcy anyway - so if you know that you are going to petition for your bankruptcy then what is the point of continuing to pay your IVA? The worst they can do is make you bankrupt.
