    Sorry just one more question, does the ipa continue when you are discharged?or does it continue upto a certian period

    Yes it is called an IPA and it does last 3 years

    I thought it was income payment agreement :confused: Im new to this but am looking through the site and slowly learning!
  • It is an IPA (Income payment arrangement) lasts for 3 years. The IVA is a different process and nothing to do with Bankruptcy.

    Scoot - Youll be fone mate, start saving... Youll need the cash !. You will be fine.

    Thinking of saving this months and filing on next payday.

    im am the worst worrier in the world and iv done it and come through it all un harmed so far .

    i emptied all my accounts of money the week b4 i went to court .

    I am just worried that the OR will complain about me taking the money out and that the creditors will start phoning again and telling me that I should have filed by now thats all

    Only if you are sure you can afford it and you are ready. Make sure there are plenty of appointments at court as they are very busy. Also think about Xmas you know...     The courts told me I could probably see the judge the day after I give the papers in
