When I intended bankruptcy my appointment was on the Monday. I was told to take the forms and proof on the Friday to have it checked. Then to take the printout of my SoA and the money on the Monday. Yes you can pay both your fees on the same day.

poss a week for the court appointment, then what? but what i mean is how long does it take to declare yourself bankrupt up to the point where they turn round and say right now you are bankrupt and start payin a payment for 3 yrs and after a yr bankruptcy ends but your credit ratin is shot to bits,

sorry to sound dumb

i want to start the process just curious will it take a few weeks or more

Between the Court making you bankrupt and the appointment with the OR can be 1 day to three weeks.
It can take them 4/6/8 months to decide on an IPA if any.

IPA whats that? in this time you still struggle to pay your bills or do you stop paying them?
