ASSETS
The assets typically taken in Bankruptcy are property, stocks and shares, endowment policies, valuable vehicles, boat, caravans etc. Domestic goods, unless they are valuable antiques, are normally excluded0 -
Doushka - Pensions
Yes they do take your pension (private not State) and your Endowment Policies, I am sorry to say.0 -

That link does not work!
I cannot find the link via the insolvency site for you.
From the work you have done on your SoA I think you are okay.0 -

Sarah, the OR does not include the payments from Income Support, CTC, or your Maintenance payments.
You will not get an IPA.
You have no need to worry about any excess income!!
Your SoA looks fine. The OR only wants to make sure that you have enough money to live on so that you don't end up in debt again.
Please don't worry about it!!0 -
sandralovescats wrote:Also the OR doesn't allow for pet insurance - and yours is high - I don't know how you are going to "lose" it in something else, though. Why not increase your food allowance? Also, your B/C/H is a little low, maybe you could increase that to help cover the cost of your cats?
Your DLA and IB are not included in your income, so don't worry about that.
Hope this helps!
:rotfl: don't I know the cat insurance is high.... nearly fell off my chair when I added all the premiums up. Does't sound a lot for each cat, but put 'em together and OUCH!
took me ages to suss out what B/C/H was.... was pm'ing you and it clicked lol
I've increased Food now to £200 (from £150) - that seems an awful lot, is it going to be allowed?
Also, I've upped B/C/H (!) to £80 from £50 do you think I'll get away with that?
and finally (for this week at least), just to comfirm what Sandra said..... when the OR looks at my figures, the only income he is going to take into account is my Income Protection Policy (ignoring the Incapacity Benefit and DLA), is that right?
If that is the case, my soa is showing a £266 deficit! Should I be making it fit to just the IPP?
sorry to labour the point, with just a week and a half to go you can tell I'm getting a tad (ok a lot) nervous about the whole thing
thanks for your help people, the reassurance sure is usefulBCSC # 29 - BRD 29/11/06ED 31/08/07 phew!
