Which makes me wonder whether its worth me going to see them about the figures.

Insolvency have told me now that I can't put down that my cash in hand is being kept in case Student Loans want all their money back in one lump sum. I can't really justify spending all my money over the next couple of months as simple expenditure as I am showing a surplus of about £400 on my I&E. Presumably they will see this and say that I should have £400 in hand after my expenditure so it looks like some cash inhand is going to go to them after all. Drat

    Hi scoot,

You're getting a little paranoid, the OR doesn't do a detailed cash reconciliation, it's more the bigger picture as to how you have conducted yourself in the year or so leading up to your bankruptcy.

You'll need a reasonable cash float when you go BKY there's no falling back on cards. I would concern myself more on where I could safely keep my "slush fund" - Mike's idea's not a bad one, but if you're over 30yrs there's always the danger of forgetting where you bueried it Lol.
