I'd like to join please :) I find it a constant struggle trying to keep the place clean and tidy!

I am currently a SAHM with an almost 8 year old DS and a 14 month old DD. I have a pile of bills/leaflets/bits of paper etc in the kitchen which need to be sorted. I'm hoping the satisfaction of crossing things off the list will spur me on to do more!

To start off I am aiming to do the level one and see how I go - the level 2 and 3 things are held for bedtime/naps!

Tuesday - Sitting Room and Hallway
    Level One

Open the windows and turn on some music!
    [STRIKE]Vacuum floors and sofas![/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Declutter the chairs, floor and a couple of shelves!![/STRIKE]
    Level Two
Vacuum under any furniture you can.. please don't injure yourselves!
    Clean any fluffy electricals
Check those smoke alarms!.. get fire brigade to come do a home check if you have none..
    Level Three
    wash windows
HHC in the hallway.. vacuum floors/stairs, wipe paintwork, fling that junk mail!.. if there is a charity shop bag.. FILL IT! Tidy coats/bags/shoes
Empty and wash out any bins
    Extras
    1. Binbag dance
    2. HHI
    3. Wipe and water any plants
    4. Sort a paperwork pile.. filing, shredding and organising bills to be paid!
    Extra jobs of my own:
    [STRIKE]Wipe surfaces in living room[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Put a load of washing in
    Unload dishwasher
    Put clothes away upstairs[/STRIKE] YIPPEE!!
    Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked :)

Thanks uropa and Juliejim. I've never heard of trial of labour though have just looked it up. I will ask about it later, but I'm worried (as is midwife) as baby feels big to everyone (growth scan says on the big size but ok) and husband's family have a history of biggies (last one 10lb5, not late, who got stuck!), so I just feel for my own sanity a planned c section may be best!

Rach - Sounds like you know what is best for you. If a c. section is what you want then keep your resolve strong. Hope you get the outcome you want at your appt and that applies to Uropachild too.

Terrible morning. DS3 is still poorly with his ear infection and was in the living room playing his nintendo DSi this morning. DS1 was playing god and decides to order DS3 to get dressed. He then snatches the DSi out of DS3's hands and it breaks in half with wires snapped. This leads to hysterical tears from DS3 and DD2 (she feels her brother's pain) and DH loses his temper with DS1. I have never seen DH so angry. DS1 leaves for college without breakfast, packed lunch, money and phone.:( We now have to find £130 for a new DSi and have to work out a payment plan for DS1 to pay us back. DH has taken DS1's gaming tv (3 months old) to work to flog to the highest bidder. It really is a mess.:(

Lovely sunny day here. I must get my washing on the line.

DD2 has swimming lessons tonight, I will go to Argos to buy New DSi.

Who knows I may even attempt some of the list today......:o
  • Level 1 done :j and will wipe over TV and poke smoke alarm once bub has decluttered his feed and that's level 2 too :) and all before lunch lol

Also feeling very smug as got my first xmas pressie today - the hairy bikers mums know best book for my mum. She's really hard to buy for and usually get smellies but she had a long stay in hospital earlier this year and when I cleaned her room for her before she came home I found them all! And I'm usually a last minute kinda girl...

Going to bake some muesli twinks and a cake this afternoon but cant decide between hairy bikers lemon drizzle or sexymouse's gingerbread...
    So, there are these boys,
    They kinda stole my heart,
    They call me Mummy

    Afternoon all

Been out all morning looking at fences without much joy.

Mumto5 hugs sweetie I can so envisage that situation

I'm going to have a cuppa and then do a HHH downstairs.

Lovely and sunny here but I'm not really in the mood for gardening. I might lay on the sun lounger (if next doors kids go in and they shriek the whole time) and declutter a pile of leaflets/mags in a bit.
The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair

  • Is it my internet or is the forum being really slow at the moment?

Off now, so Rach and uropachild I hope things go the way you want them to this afternoon. Tell them what you want and don't let them bully you into anything else.

Love to Toots and anyone having a tough time, pigpen, glad you're ok, but remember to EAT woman! You have that baby to feed too (as if you needed reminding lol)

See you all later no doubt x
