  • Afternoon all well my HHC turned into an hour lol but i managed to clean the patio doors, washed up and generally tidied kitchen, take last nights washing off the line, empty WM and refill and reload washing line.

Meeting at DS school went well, the woman is going to try and get some funding for another member of staff to come in on days the nursery have less staff so that DS gets the 1 on 1 he needs, they r setting up a "learning plan" for him to try and push him to where he needs to b. She will also contact the HV's as I've had to constantly badger them until they contacted the hospital for an autism check for him, so they should start to help me (in theory!) She will also get him on the list for speech and communication therapy. She is coming here next wednesday to see callum at home and go over some helpful things that I can do with him that will reinforce what his key worker at the nursery will be doing. so all in all things r starting to happen :)

Right another cuppa decluttered and so is our tuna pasta lunch, need to go check the washing on the line and hang another load out, starting to come over dark but I'm goign to risk it!!

Toots I hope things r going ok today, thinking of u x

Rach I hope the consultant listens to your concerns and gives u the birth u want, I can't see why they would have a problem with it as they are genuine concerns.

Hugs Mumto5 sounds like u need one x

Right time to get off my toosh and do something!!

Pasta on for me and DD(Tuna pasta mayonnaise with cheese and onion) and there are potatoes for OH....another job done :)

Thanks for the kind words, but it was not so straightforward as I hoped. He's not keen to just say he'll do a section, as apparently the hip thing isn't necessarily a contraindication for natural delivery. So I have to go to the delivery suite tomorrow am to see the anaesthetist (and I think consultant again too) who will look at whether natural birth is realistic I think (i don't really know, it wasn't made that clear), and pain relief options. I had just assumed they would book me in for section there and then. They are apparently very slow to do them as they want to get their rates down, according to the midwife who I cried all over afterwards. I am just not sure how I am supposed to deliver naturally when I can't stand, walk, open my legs properly etc, even laying on my back is painful! I don't want pethedine and epidurals are not advised because if i can't feel pelvis i could be doing damage, so there isn't much option as far as I understand it! Still, I guess all will become clearer in the morning!!

ohhh i want to cry for you. it sounds like the consultant has just dismissed your fears without considering your feelings whatsoever. try and forge about everything tonight, and tomorrow when you go back, have a list of all the points and go through them one by one and get both the consultant and the anaesthetist to advise against each point why a natural birth is better than a section for yourself. can hubby or someone not go with you as well and speak up if you feel yourself getting angry with them if they continue to dismiss you.

    good luck and hugs gxx
