    you know MatyMoo's birthday.

Well mine is a day in the summer. It has something attached to it that people say.

I love fish and chips. We had sea bass from M&S, we splurged for valentines. We don't celebrate it but as M&S were doing the meal deal we went for it, and it was worth it! The Sea Bass was divine. Like DH said last night, we were spoilt, now to have have cod... you know what you are missing.

I know Maty Moo's brthday is in april, but whereas easter was always the same dates in the olden days, easter seems to be more random, these days. I don't know where the dates are plucked from.

I've had sea bass lots of times, but i personally, think its overated. Maybe its just the restaurants i've been to. I've been to an expensive, exclusively, fish, restaurant, a few times. They do a fantastic seafood platter, but i've never enjoyed ' posh ' fish and chips. Give me haddock wrapped in newspaper, anytime. ( and that says alot about the person i am ).

I still prefer Haddock, to any other fish, even lobster. Its my all time favourite.

Do you think sw is reading this? Thats the only question i could answer with ease, but she never asks it. It must be added, to make 21 questions. What is your favourite fish?

Which reminds me, i've still yet to see a whale, but thats a mammal

Ah, your birthday is Independence Day, July 4th, and people say a psalm? You are a crab? :rotfl:

Continuing along the fishy lines, lol or even, fishing lines, groan.................

I am a crab and it is July but wrong day. Well done though!

My beloved car, was just a boring Ford Fiesta Sport. But it was beloved as it was my 3rd car, all bought on my own merit, no parents helped with purchase. And it was a decent car! It took us all the way to Edinburgh and all the way to Cornwall, without breaking down, etc. I didn't have many repairs to it.

Since the accident, I have not been able to afford another car. That was a good deal because it was bought from a friend of my ex. The insurance money I received got spent on bills and deposit for first rental place, etc, etc.

So... when do I get the website for your car? The one with the selection of cars, and I can choose which one I think is yours?

I am not sure I like haddock. I have tried it. Don't like plaice.

Best memory, sitting at Seahouses, on the bench, overlooking the beach and the sea, eating lovely fish and chips, freshly cooked. Fish caught that day in the North Sea. :)
  • Hello just got in, am here but keep checking ebay am after something up for auction. Back later.

Ok for you nohope whenever i question anyone i will always ask them their favourite fish ok. For the record i quite like cod and chips, i am not too impressed with lobster - fiddly and messy i find. Hey it's food i shouldn't complain i am grateful we have enough to eat. I have been teaching absolute poverty to my students this week. Sad subject. back later ok.

I'm gutted i got it wrong

The North Sea. Nothing like it. You can't beat Whitby, for fish and chips. You can watch, ( and smell ) your kippers being smoked there. Mmmmm. Good place for goths, too.

I believe haddock is an acquired taste, by those strange yorkshire folk. I know, when i go into a chippy and ask for haddock, i'm looked at, as though i've six heads.

The website. Slight problem. I can only send the link for my actual car, and since its quite rare, unique, i'd be recognised by the whole of mse, ( or those who read my diary ).................................:rotfl:

Old mini's or new mini coopers? Old beetles or new beetles, lol

My parents used to have an old beetle. It was white, and i sat in the back, next to the engine. How i hated that car.

Well, its definitely not a Roller

that's strange, we have haddock in middx. Although must admit most of the time it is cod that is asked for.

Grrrr. made some changes to some of my browsers today and it has affected MSE! everything keeps flashing, very annoying.

might have to revert to old style browsers!

    grrrr..

anyhow.... pm the website please! Really would love to see your car. I love classics and am trying to work out how to make my son interested in them.

my dad had a mini a very long time ago. Old mini, not mini cooper, Ah... austin... that's right. I had to sit on the ledge/pocket on the side at the back, as my sisters would sit on the seats and that was all I was allowed.

old beetles definitely! I knew a girl, worked with her, she had old classic beetle with engine in back. She was telling me at the time her number plate was worth £100, which was a lot of money in those days, unlike now.
