Congratulations, Nohope. Such a shame you can't change your name. Maybe you could be referred to as "formerly known as Nohope", like "the star formerly known as Prince".

I hope for your sake the house is sold soon, so that you can reach "closure" and really move forward. If you are open to it, there is a whole host of opportunities ahead of you. Enjoy them.

    Thanks Wordsmith x

Your wit makes me laugh, as ever.

I've not looked at the website re the house, for a few weeks. Its too strange seeing the views from my house, which i loved so much. I must tranfer the possibilties from your thread, and make a list of social possibilities, too. But you know what its like................

Right i'm shattered and working tomorrow, so i'm off to bed now. Have a good weekend, everyone.

    Hugs Nohope

Sorry I don't reply to your questions. Sit down so late and come to your thread late and then am too tired to think.

I have thought about a metal detector, but I have a feeling the ring fell out of my pocket and down the side of the settee. Problem with that, I put my hand down the side and ripped the material so we now have a big hole and if it did fall down there, it could be anywhere. And whilst a metal detector may find it, it may also find coins, do we risk ripping up LLs expensive sofas?

DH hasn't finished with washer dryer. Still has a few more places to look.

My health? Not better, keep getting this damn cough back and now have a lump in my throat which means I am going to end up with a sore throat.

Ah, now we do know you a little better. The information about your birthday and the date.

Now i'm going to spend the day upset.

After all these comments about my house, i decided to have a look at the website. Its sstc. Its a desirable property. I bet i know who has bought it. I'll ring and ask them. They'll know, anyway.

Its upset me, of course, but at least it brings me nearer to closure, i suppose. Who would have said, this time last year, that this time this year, it would all be coming together.

Got to pull myself together, and go to work.

    you know MatyMoo's birthday.

Well mine is a day in the summer. It has something attached to it that people say.

I love fish and chips. We had sea bass from M&S, we splurged for valentines. We don't celebrate it but as M&S were doing the meal deal we went for it, and it was worth it! The Sea Bass was divine. Like DH said last night, we were spoilt, now to have have cod... you know what you are missing.

You knew looking at the website about your house would upset you. But as someone, was it So Sad Angel has already said, you need it for closure. I used to hate that word, thought it very americanised, but it is true. We need certain things to happen in our lives for closure. I lost my beloved car to an accident, that to this day, we cannot explain, we saw different things. BUT it was associated with my ex. And that was a burden on my life. So not having anything left associated with him, I was free again.

Yep, thats why i don't look at it.

Closure. I find that works more for practical matters, than emotional issues.

So you're as much of a petrolhead as me. What car was it, or car do you drive now?

See. I know even less about people than they do about me :)
