Now i know i've had a long and tiring day, but if everyone has a date of birth and a date of death, ie a day they are born and a day they die, would'nt jesus, therefore have a date of birth and a date of death? ( always the same date )

So if jesus really was a real person, there would be no conflict of dates or beliefs between different religions. Which leads me to question why we celebrate xmas and easter, at all?

Maybe i'm missing something here? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Don't get me wrong. As i've said in my diary, i come from a religious background. I said , come from...................

If Jesus was born on Christmas Day which is always the 25th of December and died at Easter why isn't that always the same day too???? Never have understood that one!

Ooooh, missed lots of car talk.

My 1st car was a Mini, white with a black roof.

My Dad's first brand new car was a Cortina Mk1 Estate.

My sister once had a Morris Minor, I have never wanted one as I couldn't see out the windscreen due to me being a short ar*e and it having quite a curve.

The favourite car I have owned was probably my XR3.

Cars I would like to own: something old enough for the London to Brighton run, a Porsche 911 in Guardsman Red, something with running boards (Maybe this: 1931 Duesenberg Model J Derham Bodied Tourster!!!!), a Winnebago to travel the world in with one of those little cars sat on the back for running around in - none of this is going to happen without a significant lottery win :rotfl:

Hmmm, thats a different league. Veteran cars pre 1905, as opposed to classic cars.

    XR3 You're a wannabee boy racer then? :)

    Me too :rotfl:

Back in the day we didn't have google/wikipedia but papyrus scrolls and people ended up changing the dates as the scrolls were translated from one language to another over time. Plus although it is the same day dont the main religions of that time have their own calenders?

Seems pretty cut and dried to me. Jesus must have been born on one day, and died on another.

Guess what? I've rewritten this post several times and ended up deleting it.

Time for bed. Love to all

My mum had a mini traveller too. It was grey. Come to think of it, they must have always been changing their cars! They had a cortina mark one, i think, white with a green stripe? with the diamondish shape indicators, was that a mark one? a cortina in bright yellow, i remember a cresta in grey and green stripes,a ford consul in white and green, ermm what else? :rotfl:

I always wanted an MG midget, as opposed to the MGB-GT, when i was in my youth. It was always my dream to have a sports car. I've been lucky enough to drive a ferrari, maserati, and a lotus elise. I went on one of those driving experiences, a long time ago. We got to drive a fire engine, too and surprisingly, i got the most enjoyment out of driving that, because it was something completely different from what i'm used to.

My Mini Traveller was a lime green/yellow colour and, before the MGB-GT, we had an Austion Healey Sprite (same as MG Midget) that was another car I wish I'd been able to drive but couldn't drive then :(

    Night all x

Jags - Mr 3Dogs favourite cars, the old ones that is!! Like the one Morse drives ............... drool ............... but wouldn't want to pay for the fuel in one of those!!

We had an old Rover - the real old rounded ones - first automatic I had driven and loved that too, plus a Rover V8 sdi which was gorgeous to drive anywhere and could get anything in that boot/hatch

My most unusual drive was my first time driving abroad, it was in France and I drove a large Minibus!!! Now that was quite an experience for me  I love driving and like to think I could pop into any car and drive it, as we have had such varied vehicles over the years !!

wow! I am in heaven sitting here reading about cars. Has made up for my day and my busy day tomorrow.

I don't have any unusual driving experiences. I have done a skidpan course, I won that in a local newspaper competition.
