eek! my car will be off the road in a couple of weeks time as tax and mot due. great. good job i don't mind being stuck on my own in the middle of nowhere - anti-social moo:rotfl:

Sounds like a plan Nohope... Why don't you work towards raising the money for petrol to go to a car show when the Spring arrives? BR is not forever, I was discharged after 6 months, I was very small fry compared to many people that were being made BR at the time. My OR office was completely snowed under and I got a very generous allowance and kept my car. Though how much my ageing Fiat would raise wouldn't go very far, but I love it. Like you said, it is like wearing an old glove or comfy slippers.
You will begin to look like a tinned tomato if you are not careful, or take on a red tinge.....

tinned tomatoes no hope? ? Do you put them on the toast or have the toast on the side? Sure my brain should be pondering something more important right now but I'm curious as to whether the toast goes soggy?
