    Morning Nohope,

I agree that we don't expect a reply to our posts, time is short, but I hope you have time to read them and realise that we are all 100% behind you.
As regards the CA bureau, believe me they will have heard far worse stories than yours especially in these difficult times.
I used to think my debt problems were both unique and impossible to deal with but I learnt differently. The CCCS were fantastic as well and within 6 weeks of first posting on the Bankruptcy forum I was bankrupt and although I felt somewhat guilty I realised that I couldn't repay my debts and it was the only way out. I felt 10 yrs younger overnight. I am not exaggerating when I say that I felt suicidal.
One thing I would say is that every little query or new problem you have needs to be aired on either here or the BR forum because someone will know the answer or the best way to deal with it rather than you sitting worrying "What if, What if?".... As you probably already know there are a number of debt counsellors that post great advice and they are always quick to respond. I am thinking in particular with the deficit from the house sale. I have seen so many people post about that... don't worry unneccessarily.
Although we had heavy snow yesterday it has been raining overnight and it is washing the snow away so hopefully your journeys are not going to be too eventful.
Day off today for me, just going to chill out while the dog chews on his new bone. Don't work too hard and stay warm, well fed and healthy.
    Hugs
    SA

I heard there were snow drifts where i used to live, yesterday. Par for the course. I am intrigued as to where you live, ( i've done some research )!. My origins were from that area, and its in this area i've seen a volunteer/ charity project, i'm interested in. I hope you have enjoyed your day chilling. The best sort of day to have.

Throughout all of this, i've always read every post i've received, although on the odd occasion i give my diary a wide berth. I appreciate anyone who has ever read or replied in my diary. Maybe without any of you, i would'nt be where i am now. Where is crumbling? I hope they are ok?

    Hi NoHope

I saw Daffy's for sale today, made me smile after we were talking about them yesterday :)

Didn't buy them though as I think it is a little early for them to be british.

Today has been a good day, if you could call any day, good. Thanks for your offer of daffodils x

Although i have been laughing, maybe today was the first day i felt i was actually laughing. Sorted my car, such as it is. Had to find another garage, since i've moved, so reverted to one i've used many years ago. I was surprised they are still there, but they are. A specialist in the field, at a fraction of the price, and not cowboys, either. Difficult to come by. But car booked in for mot, they remembered me, ( how could anyone ever forget, i'm such a pain )!, so all i need is some more pay, before the dreaded event takes it all back off me, again. Might even push the boat out and have the cracked sump gasket replaced, and maybe even the electrics, which i've been putting off for some time, but can't put off, forever. Depends on funds. I'm gettng excited thinking about it. Got some special goo as well, so i can repair my leaking roof, at the saving of £700 - £800, which would cost to have it repaired by convential methods. Got to wait until the weather changes though, first. So if i get as far as paying the road tax in march, maybe i can stop thinking about all the expenditure on that wreck of a car, unless the engine blows, and start thinking about, what? living again ? Why does this car cost so much to maintain, when its worth so little. Would'nt it be cheaper to buy a ferrari? A new car ? Hmmm. Thinking back, i've never bought a new car in my life. Ever.

Since i've made it to 2011, maybe its a year of changes, ( apart from bloody car ). Its time i started standing up for myself more. I've always been an easy target, a pushover, but not anymore. This is 2011. I told a work colleague before xmas, don't you ever speak to me like that, again. Thats all i said. Surprise, surprise, they were very pleasant to me today. I'd been told not to speak to someone, about something very upsetting, but i broke ' the rules ' today, as it did'nt feel right with the person, i am. I'm so glad i did it. Others did too. How can you not speak to someone who has lost their partner? But i was careful with my timing. I still got watched though. But on the other hand, i've wanted to keep my problems to myself, so i could see it from that point of view. I think you were glad i spoke about it. I hope so. But i know what it feels like to have a hug. The surprising thing is, you spoke about a rumour about me. You had defended it, because you knew it was'nt true, because you'd spent the day working with me, on a 12 hour shift, as did others, that week. Its surprising the lies people will make up about you, which people will believe, if they choose to. You've uplifted me so much today by saying i'm the nicest person anyone could meet, and would'nt do anything to harm anyone. I'm writing this down, because somewhere through all this, i've lost myself, and who i am, and maybe one day i'll read this. The sad thing is, no one new about the c word. But as i vaguely remember, we talked about it a fair bit, that day.

Maybe i should start trying to integrate myself more, now, although no one will ever know my story

    I always do :D

Well done for speaking to your colleague, sometimes we have to do what we think is right regardless of what we are told to do. It has got me in to trouble on several occasions but it still felt right ;)

Sleep well, tomorrow is another day :)

I travel a lot by bus, cannot afford a car, haven't been able to for the last 10 years, anyway..... some of the areas I pass by have lots and lots of Daffs, I am assuming they are british/english, as they are usually only out in season....

I will see them, smile and think of this diary and all the positive thoughts on it :)
