Ani - PM immoral_angel - she is an expert on DRO and works for CAB when she is not raising her girls.

You will find her diary here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3580823 in DFW and she regularly posts in the DRO thread (sub-thread of Bankrupt and living with it).

Then get out and SC ... it has been damp overnight so focus on upping your record catch and breath fresh air. Hard to do, and easy to say, but concentrate on one thing and do it until it's done. Then pick the nextone of the 3 things on your 'todo' list.

It's quite ok if your list looks like

    1. Read IA diary and send her a PM
    2. SC
    3. Eat, Sleep, enjoy being alive

REPEAT (ok, don't message IA every day ... but you get the idea ;) )

[just in case you are shy and not feeling like talking, I've PM'd her on your behalf and asked her to drop by - hope this is OK]

    Thanks NL xx

I have literally just received todays mail, ( only one letter today,) from the council, ( all 16 pages of goobledegook,) the upshot of which, i think says my rent and ct is now being paid? Who knows? I don't. Which seems to suggest, i'm in receipt of dla on their system? I wish..................

I'm still not spending any money. Seeing is not believing..................Maybe receiving is?

1977... I remember 1977 too. A particular school trip to York. :D And wasn't that the Year Star Wars came out? And TOTP 1977 was on in the middle of the night last night - completely unmemorable songs.

As for Elvis, I think he's brilliant but I can't listen to him., for exactly the same reason I can't read Thomas Hardy. Both of them literally trigger depression. Not good, huh?

This is obviously going to be one of those upbeat days, isn't it? :D I'm sorry the date brings back memories. Anniversaries are powerful reminders. To me that's a reason to leave the business stuff and have another chill day. If you have tomato flowers then there might well be the start of a real life tomato, and I'm sure the weeds are keeping on growing, so there are other things to do besides worry.

Well, I need some sleep (again) but I hope to be back later. Take care of yourself. I will have a think about the things you've said and see if anything comes to mind.

    Both of them literally

That phrase reminds me... some bloke on the telly was saying Britain had literally been physically lifted by the Olympics.

    The mind boggles.

    Have a good sleep. xx

Well, i don't think it's just me that's being thick. It's my whole situation and systems which have been so complex, all the way through this. After all, isn't that what everyone has said all along. My situation is so complex. Is it reaching some sort of conclusion? I don't know. I wish it would hurry up before the car insurance runs out. Maybe i should just leave ani uninsured, well out of sight, until everything is resolved? It's less stress that way. I shouldn't have said that, but it's only for a matter of days? What's the point of sorning a car for say two days? three days? whatever? Maybe i should sorn ani ad infintum. Can't you tell that's the next main problem to be solved. Bl00dy cars.

Ok. I'm away to assess sc damage, now.

I have spent all morning completely stressed, like a headless chicken. I AM a headless chicken. I am now going to defer all the hmrc carp to wr. I haven't got a head on. I have read all 16 pages of council gobbledygook which seems to infer i am still liable for some council tax and another bill is on its way. Never give up, do you? I don't know how you work that one out? I honestly don't. At some point i should make a move on other benefits? But definitely not today. I haven't been out in the garden yet and all the sc's will have retreated to their hiding places or wherever it is they go for lunch. I have to switch off from everything. Otherwise this headless chicken will have no legs, either.

Did the headless chicken catch any scs?

Throw as much as you can it into the lap of WR, isn't that what they get paid for?

P.S. Is this a friend of yours?
