One hour later. That is me done? It's a benefits minefield if you've never walked it before. No wonder they say you've got to know how to milk the system. Another benefit now applied for, with the shortest of time limits to apply, so that by the time you find out about it, you are too late? I should make sure i'm aware of all my entitlements before my retirement into convalescence? So near yet so far? I can't help thinking back to how its been this year, and i know i shouldn't look back. I've been struggling so much, thanks to the system. I felt i had no option but to take the routes i've taken. It's all too much. It's all been a nightmare.

I " bought " some oriental lilies, ( not that i haven't lots of them about to flower in my garden.) :o
And do you like Christmas cactuses because I have some looking for a good home?
Is that a hint? and you've just mentioned xmas again. Yes please. :)

Oriental lilies - how lovely! So you are not a cat person then?:D But we knew that (I think). (Lilies are poisonous to cats apparently... just so you don't feel you have to ask about my train of thought).

(I am a cat person personally - most of the time it doesn't show, because I have a good excuse for sleeping all day and doing nowt, but every now and then people get suspicious.Must stop leaving dead mice and sparrows on the doorstep...)

Another benefit?! And after all this time and hard work there's one no one thought to mention (possibly because it was too obscure for anyone to find, let alone claim it). Well, if anyone deserves it, you do.

I will work out how to send you some Christmas cactuses - but be warned they flower for Thanksgiving for some reason. I have an Easter cactus too - a huge ungainly thing that I only have because it's a descendent of one my Grandad had and it has the most spectacular flowers, usually on time apart from the bud that's just appeared. No cuttings of that at present as it's developed scale insect and needs treatment when I remember.

Alas, I am off to work again - have a peaceful evening.

 Mea culpa, mea maxima culpa. :(

My RE teacher used to say 'Me a Mexican Cowboy'. My theology has been recovering ever since. :D

I would deny everything except you have the evidence - but in my defence, the plants do have to exist all year round.

Let's invent an alternative - it doesn't have to be Yule or Saturnalia unless you prefer. Is Schlumbergeralia perhaps a bit cumbersome? During Schlumbergeralia all plant fans check their overwintering stock, dust and oil the garden tools and array said Schlumbergeras in their windows, with or without poinsettias, forced hyacinths, forced paperwhite narcissi and sprigs of holly and ivy.

Then they go to http://www.thompson-morgan.com/?source=google-brand&gclid=CJyW7NCd5bECFUQPfAodEngABQ, http://www.suttons.co.uk/?gclid=CK-Y1OCd5bECFfMdtAodph4AvQ, http://www.crocus.co.uk/, http://www.geraniumsuk.com/?source=google-non&gclid=COq5qYOe5bECFVMdtAodpmsAYg, http://www.scentedgeraniums.co.uk/, http://www.davidaustinroses.com/english/Advanced.asp and similar places to while away the hours they wuld usually spend SC hunting.

    Happy Schlumbergeralia (in advance).

(Not that I'd know anything about it).

I'm an anytype of animal person. In fact, i prefer animals to humans. :D With the exception of slugs, that is. :rotfl:

The benefits are currently mounting up. Thanks. x

Running out of time. I slept late and i have an appointment.

I still haven't got my head round yesterday, and it is going to take some time for it all to sink in. I'm not used to having any money. What will i do with it? Mind you, i still don't have any money. I must check my account, athough i suspect it will still be showing big fat 00.00's.

    Laters.

    More phone calls? :(

Have you got sunshine there today? I don't know what happened to the projected rain and high winds but it's nice here. I ought to do the garden but I owe Mum a visit and by this evening the midgies will be out. I am their favourite food.

All the best for your appointment. :)
