    Forgive me, for i have sinned. Things were so bad i had some retail therapy yesterday, and spent £4.50 on plants. I knew it was a mistake before i went to the stall, but heyho, you don't need money in paradise, do you? Money i can ill afford. Still, i couldn't say no to THAT plant. The one in the colour i've been envious, ( admiring, ) of my neighbour. Completely different plant, but same colour. There's something about that colour. It's a Rhodohypoxis milliodes ' claret '. Good drink that, isn't it? It's a perennial, too, and there's no way the little buga's ( or the big ones, ) are having a feast at this expense, so it's subject to tlc, and will be brought inside at nightime, for now. Another unusual geranium to add to my collection, too. I now have a dozen or so, very unusual geraniums, and they are all gorgeous. I'm learning to live with geraniums. It's been months since i've bought any plants or seeds, hasn't it? Oh, a couple of other plants came in the bag, one with yellow flowers, and one with brown flowers. very unusual. My cucumbers are now flowering, ( i think they are my cucumbers,) and will soon be ready to eat? My favourite lettuce was well on the way to eat, but little buga's decided it was their favourite lettuce, too, so my favourite lettuce, is, no more. Still got a tub full of the the other lettuce, though. Little barstewards. :mad: The good news is my freesia are flowering. I've been wondering for some time, what they were going to be, since i can't remember what i potted, where. Loads of them. I've also some gladioli? about to flower. Many of my plants don't have any leaves on them. They are just sticks with flower buds on the end of them. Same goes for the lillies. Can't find my lavender either. Why did i put it outside when i was going to keep it inside, as an air freshner? It's just been so frustrating. All the hard work and effort i have put in. For what? I'll be glad when summer is over, and i don't have to go sc catching anymore? Is it the same 100 sc's finding their way home, everyday? My neighbour now suggests i use horticultural spray. Now they tell me.

    I have decided to take the advice of the sw. I am going to stop fretting about all this atos " stuff ". It is, what it is. You are an idiot, if you can't reognise when someone is truly ill. I seriously have to take time out from everything. My sw said so what, if you just do nothing. Just watch tv all day, whatever? I can't even concentrate on a book. I'm struggling to concentrate on writing in my diary. It's what your body is telling you. Yes, i know that already. But i'm a fighter, aren't i. But i have to take time out. S*d the fact i've been here what, 6 months now, and people ask, haven't you unpacked yet? No i haven't. So what. No, i haven't done this and that. I still spend most of my time with all the financial stuff, benefits, etc. And that takes me all day. Such as it is. Go back to work and kill yourself. For whose benefit? I'm not fit for purpose. I'm soo not fit for purpose. Wro officer said yesterday, only 6% are accepted onto esa support group. Says it all, doesn't it? There are still alot of people in various services, in the background for support

    It's been a devastating week. My benefits have been cut again, which leaves me no option but to have to sort it all out, with the council etc. I was going to do a soa, but there seems little point. The upshot of the soa says what we all know already. I was minus £120. That's £120 short of what i need to pay my bills. I can't cut back anymore than i have already. My outgoings are now minus £130, since hmrc are taking £10 a month from me, already, for the tc overpayments. They are sending my arrears to collections. All £600 of them. It's ironic hmrc owes me considerably more than this by form of a tax rebate. That's tax hmrc has unlawfully taken from me, and money which i am never likely to see again. Nowt anyone can do about that, though. Not for now, anyway. I have a long memory. Usually. You watch me forget. Never.

    For now, i have the dro in place, but even though i rarely go out or spend money, i am still accumulating debts. So now i have a new list of debts. The only one on the new list at the moment, is hmrc. Yet another appeal process to initiate, along with the appeal for dla. I don't know how much they are allowed to take from your benefits, but £10 a month is crippling. Barstewards. On current income it will take me another 5 - 6 years to repay this new debt. I've given up all thoughts of ever being debt free, now. I've no aspiration to be a dfw. I live a totally different kind of life. I've learnt my lesson and would never take a loan or have a credit card, ( not that i would get one anyway.) If you don't have the money, you can't have it. It just begs the question, for how long can you live not being able to have? The basics, that is. Things like food. Heating. A roof over your head? Nothing is infinite. Not even life.

    I am going to take august finally doing as little as possible. That's nothing. My mind has been of upmost importance to me throughout all of this, and still remains so. It might not make sense to anyone, not even me. In utter stupidity, i have enrolled onto some courses in late autumn, thus taking some advantage of my benefits. I guess that means i'll have some sort of social life? Maybe not quite, but...I have enrolled onto keep fit for mature people. The thinking there is that if i don't manage the exercise, i can sneak into the steam room and sauna, and hope no one will notice. It also means a free shower. Not bad for 50p a session. I've also enrolled on a yoga for well being coure, also 50p a session. Never done yoga, but i've always wanted to. Could be just what i need. The ultimate test, i've enrolled onto a computing coures with qualifications. This i am more concerned about as i know i will struggle. Not because i'm thick, but with my capabilty to learn and absorb, at the moment. The course tutor seems very understanding and says it can be done at your own level, so we shall see. I may have to drop out, if it proves too tiring. Tbe government will only try and retrain as they say, an old dog new tricks, but it's something i've wanted to do for some time, anyway. May as well use the " free " opportunity. I am also going back to playing. They are a lovely crowd down there, and it's not as pressurised as where i was before. It's more for the enjoyment? factor than the standard. It could potentially be a busy autumn. I have to get there first. Yesterday was a reality shock.

    I have to say, my marigolds are B E A U T I F U L. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: ( that's the ones i didn't plant in the ground, but in a big tub.) The other ones disappeared off the face of the earth, ( like the lavender.) :(

    So sorry, :whistle::whistle:

    I have just been scrutinsing them, and each one is totally different, amazing shades. I'm not a marigold fan either, but i am now. :D

    Dya know what? So do i.

    Besides, you haven't seen my garden.

    Your tomato plant is going through the roof and needs repotting, but i haven't the energy.

    I'm sure it will continue through the roof all by itself without you expending any more energy - you had better warn the builders they will need to come back.

    (See if they can break something different this time - like the kitchen flooring. ;) )

    I would love to see your garden - especially the new claret-coloured plant - and bring you biscuits and so forth. Maybe one day I will work out a way. Just warning you - so you can update your passport and/or make a good hiding place. ;)

    Found this on homing instincts of snails. :) Yes, they are on their way back. Wonder how mine have done in my absence? :D

    Just reread that again. Wow, that's alot of money. I read as 1100 :o Mind you, mine is overpaid tax credits. I have over paid more in income tax to hmrc, than they have over paid me in tax credits. Money never to be seen again. :( Sometimes it feels like there's no justice in this world.

    You have done well to reduce the amount. :cool:

    So, a quick jiggle courtesy of Mr Sainsbury and back to pouring them over the fence?

    Morning thats the figure on the document they handed to OH when they wanted to take his van away.We were lucky to get it down a bit with a tax return and then reclaiming PPI (4500 back) straight to tax man.I am delighted that its nearly paid off and never want to go back to that situation again.OH had depression 7 years ago and started having panic attacks he is so much better now but it was a downward spiral, fight or flight he flew .:(
    But can definately see the light at the end of the tunnel now, so onwards and upwards
