Don't explode... waste of good ginger and lemon. ;)

Glad you have been able to go out. We have been walking and I admit I fell asleep when we got back. All this healthy fresh air... exhausting!

Of course I now have to know what is zigzag?

I have found an internet connection, albeit limited. :D

Hope you get some sleep. x

Ah well, post has been today. Nothing of note. Lots on the news about the benefits shakeup. Dya know, i wish i'd been on benefits for decades. Not. It's ironic, isn't it? i've spent the best part of 6 months sorting my finances, or should i say benefits, which in turn, has led to an even greater decline in health. Don't most people consider their health first and foremost? I've barely enough money to live on, but at least it's relatively stable, for the moment. Until i have to start having assessments for the benefits to continue, that is, which is in the not too dim and distant future. It's waaaay too stressful, being ill. Which is the lesser evil, being ill or working? I suppose i now have to inform the is of the increase in my income (esa,) so they can take it off me? Must get some advice first. Will there ever be a day when i don't have to query something, make calls, etc? Back to the grindstone. It's taken alot of work, all this. Life?

I'm not sure we really take health seriously until it's under threat - speaking for myself that is. Undoubtedly the reassessments of benefits for those on sickness or disability is one of the worst things for their health. Grr.

Here's to another day of sunshine - catch some scs for me please. They will be getting bolder than ever in my garden.

There's a company there, who makes the most gorgeous ginger and choc chip ice cream. I can't remember the name of the company. Have one for me? ( it's a shame i can't say have one ON me.) :DGinger ice cream seems to be coming " in vogue ", these days. You saw it here first. :rotfl:

Now you're talking. Ginger and choc chip? I will look out for that with both eyes - even the one usually dedicated to cappuccino. DH discovered a shop that sells fantastic blackberry sorbet yesterday so maybe I need to start there?

Slug weather here today... hope you are doing better? :D Funnily I can't stop gardening even on holiday. I go and weed surreptitiously. :o Potentially a pretty farmhouse environs but the owner is ill (just gone into hospital) so they've only done the basics this year. There is a grapevine in a greenhouse which has been left to grow and is spilling out of every opening! It's all mixed up with bindweed too. I would love to get my hands on it! :D

We haven't heard any more about your book lately. Have you made any progress?

Yesterday's ice cream was orange and mascarpone. Yum!

Where have you hidden the ginger and choc chip please?

I know i shouldn't post because i'm feeling of extremely low mood, as they say, but i have nowhere else to go except my diary. I'm struggling with my health right now, augmented by arguments with the council over council tax, despite the dro, and a letter this morning saying i owe hmrc almost £600 in overpaid tax credits, is enough to push anyone over the edge. Just when the money situation was being sorted, another debt to add to a new list. There's something massively wrong with a human being who just can't cope anymore. How come every one else has the ability to cope, and i can't. I just can't. How i wish i hadn't gone for treatment two years ago. I should have just left it, then none of this would be happening.

Can your SW handle the council tax and /or HMRC?

I don't think you're alone in not coping, except of course that not coping makes people alone in itself. (Hugs) It's not you that's at fault. There's only so much one person can do, especially when they're ill.

Right back at the beginning of your diary you had support from some people who went to things with you. I'm not sure who. I remember you writing about going to a hearing and they stuck to you like glue so people couldn't get you to sign anything that might make things worse. Are they contactable? I'm wondering if they could help?

    xx
