Saw on Superscrimpers that slimey things are attracted to bran - apparently if you scatter bran flakes or something round an upturned lettuce leaf at night you'll find them all under there the next morning and can collect and 'dispose' of as you wish.

They adore rabbit food. Perhaps that's why the rabbit prefers not to touch it?

I don't know if they'd eat oats? You can only experiment. However, don't risk giving yourself a reputation that will start them actually searching out your garden! (Or do they do that already?)
i have an ipad that gets kindles and the only book i have paid for is the Hunger Games. I read the whole trilogy in one setting

I'm not sure I could read that... DS1 has just bought it though. He loved the film. I'm about to start 'Twilight'... been meaning to read it for ages.

And what a lovely post Nicky... :) :A

    Oh yes they would.

And there are no cost implications to writing a book, only to publishing it. :D

    So there. ;)

I think the book is just about written on here, isn't it?

    Well. Maybe not. :rotfl:

I am almost as curious about whether you are a man or a woman because I dont think you have let it slip, or if you did I missed it. There is no gender bias in your writing to give it away. I think thats interesting and very skilled

I spotted two, neither of which I will ever be able to trace - and both of which could be red herrings. :D

Ani, I can hear you laughing. :naughty:

I seem to remember the posts are copyright of MSE, but that wouldn't stop you using them as source material.

Or could you get a national paper to serialise on a weekly basis? Now there's a thought...

    It's true.

My diary is yet something else, which doesn't belong to me. How ironic is that? :D
