Saw on Superscrimpers that slimey things are attracted to bran - apparently if you scatter bran flakes or something round an upturned lettuce leaf at night you'll find them all under there the next morning and can collect and 'dispose' of as you wish.
They adore rabbit food. Perhaps that's why the rabbit prefers not to touch it?
