Phew to the DRO :) virtual ginger biscuits all round then.

Health... you know we're all sending 'be better' thoughts in whatever way each does.

Have just caught up from 21 hours work with 4.5 hours' sleep in between, followed by sleeping all day so am incapable of coherent thought (thought I'd point that out in case it didn't show) but I'll probably be back later and more chatty.

    How did the weeding go?

And NL, nice to see you again! Good that the cold turkey didn't keep you away permanently. :D

My empty bin is now full of my neighbours garden, ( i should have filled their bin.) Actually, i did precisely that with my neighbour on the other side, last week. I wish they would b*y garden. I'm not going to go round and do all their gardening, too, but their sc's travel to my garden for their holidays. Suffice it to say, their sc's went for a walk, too.

On the plus side, with the dry weather, and the removal of their little buga's, my garden has been relatively free of sc's today, apart from a colony behind the trellis. It's tough luck. I've got their hiding places sussed, now. [ maybe i shouldn't count my chickens?)

No, i'm not thinking of getting chickens
    . :p

    Now do I ever ?:D

Neighbours nicking your bins space? There seems to be a lot of that about. Twice someone has wandered off with our recycling bin - when DH went to the council to get another one, he was told it a few people had had the same thing - apparently on that occasion it was the (ahem) 'festive season' and people couldn't be bothered storing their empties till the next collection. More recently, a friend has started to find empties of Baileys etc. in her bin that don't come from her house!

And why not, may I ask? :D

Just when you are starting to get things sorted, you always get kicked by something else? If there were a god, why would they send one person so many trials?

Today has been the health check, the letting people know about the dro. It only just occurred to me, at least they didn't question ani's value, such as it is. What else do i have. A bit of b* y furniture. The council of course, in their wisdom, are currently saying they won't accept the rent as being part of the dro, as it only states the debt to the council, and not specifically the rent arrears. Barstewards. They have you by the short and curlies, whichever way you turn. Unbelievable. I'll say it again. BARSTEWARDS.

On the plus side, i've received my letter confiming the esa, and also the back payment, today. On the down side, i also received said gas and electric bill, and the back payment doesn't quite cover the utility bill. Sigh. Still, i receive some more esa, this week. On the down side, they say i'm due to receive it until next july, however the letter states the payment is until november. They say it's because they start reassessing you in advance, because it can take 18 months to process your next claim, ( or something like that.) No sitting back and recovering, huh? I suppose that's four months of calm on the esa front? You never know how things will be, come november. That's light years away, too. Live, or not, for the moment, huh?

The medical has raised cause for concern, and i don't know how to deal with it. I honestly don't. More tests / examinations, tomorrow, with my doctor making a guest appearance. Urggh. It doesn't matter what anyone says or how you feel about life. That, dominates your thoughts, too. It's such a big one. The big one. Isn't it what i want? It's such a dirty word.

Life after bankruptcy. Life into a dro. Life going round in never ending circles. What is life?

Oh, i forgot. I'm supposed to be getting my new b * y kitchen, in september.

Pleased that you got the ESA back payment. It is a good idea to ring the DWP and ask for a copy of form ESA 85a which is the one that will tell you how the decision to put you in the support group was made, that is, what descriptors you fitted. This is likely to be useful when you have to reapply.
I cant remember if you have a DLA application in, or where it's at, but given that you are in the Support Group you should stand a reasonable chance.

Sorry that your health is of concern and i hope the tests come back good for you
Can you get back on to the MP about the rent arrears?
    Xx

Thanks for that. I haven't got a clue.

Yes i've appealed for dla, but they said it will take up to 11 weeks. I mentioned this to mp, but they said the esa has no bearing on the decision for dla. They are however, pressing for early resolution. Does it really matter?

Mentioned that to mp, too, but they just said, can't you pay it back say £5 a week? and that they are unlikely to evict me. Doesn't stop them sending letters or the attitude of the staff yesterday, though.

I can't settle tonight. It's worse when you have no one to talk to, not that it would make any difference, as common sense tells me, all anyone would say is, try not to worry. It's never going to stop you worrying though, is it. The pain is bad tonight, and i couldn't sleep last night. You get to the point where all you should be considering is well being, isn't it. But then, what if no one really cares? Then why should you? I have so much going through my mind, tonight. How will i ever sleep. I can't face this alone, again, God, i feel sorry for myself.
