I hope your garden is drying out. Its lovely sunshine this morning and looks like being a great day to be living in this part of the world.
Have you got something nice planned for today? ...bet it would be a smashing day to be sailing on the water or walking on top of the ridge.
You know where I am if you just need a natter/rant/catch-up:A

I would know where you are if i could find all your details :rotfl::rotfl:
I've given up on all thoughts of sailing and walking. I've had too many accidents, and realistically, it's beyond my capabilities, right now.

Very unusual for me.I slept in beyond 7.00 am, this morning. Which meant a rush to get to the launderette, to take advantage of the free drying day. I think it's over a week since i've done any washing. Have to be careful with these 3 squids. Realised the only time i read my book, is when i go to the launderette. I must go more often.
Took some time for the mist to clear this morning, but i've had a long day gardening. I splurged a whole £10 on a decent pair of secateurs, this morning, ( just hope the esa is coming as promised.) The cheap ones i bought broke, ( no surprises there then.) I seriously need some hedge cutters and some edging shears, but the better quality secatuers have done the job. My neighbours must think i'm mad. Lawn mowed. Hedges and edges lovingly, ( painstakingly,) manicured by hand. Still. Job done. It's taken me all day, just to perform these tasks, although i've dead headed all the petunia's etc, " earthed up " the potatoes, and planted the potatoes i found the other day, which i was going to eat several weeks ago, but err, misplaced, ( lost.) How can you lose a bag of potatoes? Weeding will have to be done tomorrow? weather permitting. It's surprising how calming i now find gardening, ( even though i hate it, ) and it's the only thing which now gives me any real sense of achievement. Even the ha, commented on the garden.Debt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?

I don't know, but I have done so times without number. This is why I have potatoes growing right now - planted last year, would you believe it, and I didn't manage to get them all out.Miggy

A very long job but worth it because the results are so good. Alternatively, borrow a goat?Miggy
