Mine have been pink and pink. Will have to do some swapping? I don't even know if they are perennial's?

    Ah, they are :D

I have one labelled 'red' as well but I've yet to see flowers.

Shall I save you some seeds If I get some decent ones? You could plant them in the dull days of February (or whenever Google says) and enjoy them on a window sill with the SCs glowering on the other side of the glass. By the time they were planted out they would be sturdy and sc-proofed, at least a bit.

I found a frog in the garden just now. No toads yet, should I save some slugs for them? :)

Hi Miggy I was just trying it out - Don't know whether it was my typing or pianno playing in my dim and distant past

Another day in paradise, or another of those days which typifies ani's life.

    More like steamed and flattened?

The councellor agrees short term help is not a solution and is referring me back to gp who will then refer me down the other avenue which has already been dismissed? the sauna wasn't working, someone backed into me in the garage, and someone was speeding in a built up area on my side of the road. The upshot being, we have been left to sort damamge amicably. It doesn't make much difference as there is no allowance for repairs, in my budget. It is the same wing mirror again :o and how much did the last one cost. £500? plus the electrics, plus the force of the impact has dislodged the bracket in my boot? so the boot now won't stay up, ( it wasn't like that 15 mins before the " accident".) I have checked my insurance and there is a £100 excess, so at the very least it will cost me £100. I will ring my garage tomorrow and see how much he will do me for. I shouldn't say that, he will do repairs as cheaply as he can, but maybe should also have the chassis checked out, if the force of the impact has damaged the boot?

Actually, i think we were both quite calm and polite, under the circumstances. Very good for me. Maybe i shouldn't bother, as i will more than likely take ani off the road?

Tomorrow is going to be a day messing with cars.

Just opened my mail. Icing on the cake time. 3 lots of wasted paper from atos re my atos medical. It's very kind of them. Travel by walk, train, bus. Number of changes - 5. Journey duration - 1 hour

Walk to the station - 10 mins
    Train - 20 mins
    Walk - 2 mins
    Bus - 12 mins
Walk - 6 mins, ( i know for a fact, it takes longer than that.) ( especially if you are ill?)

    Arrive at destination.

All this, to travel 13.2 miles.

I'm sorry to hear about the car Ani (or do I mean ani, Ani?). Well done for being polite, I would have struggled had that been me.We lost a wing mirror earlier in the year, called out and stopped the person who did and took details but never heard from them again. :(Unfortunately we lost their details so I suppose that was partly our doing.

I would have the chassis checked. You are right it could be damaged and it might not show. The only reason I know that is that DH's car was rear-ended years ago. It just looked like the tiniest dent but in fact there was damage underneath too.

Were you okay? No whiplash or anything?

Pshwar to the sauna being out of action. Did you have to pay? I hope not. I suppose it means you get an extra week at what would have been the end of your sessions.

So the counselling didn't last long... at least it didn't mess with your head. Do you know for sure the GP will refer you back the way you've already been?

Have you got more meetings tomorrow? I am losing track of the days... Friday tomorrow I think?

This ani is ok, it's the other ani which is injured :o

If the chassis is damaged, then it's better to have it repaired under the insurance so the repairs are at least done as they should be. Mind you, if it's the chassis, the repairs won't be done? Which means a rise in insurance permuims, too? ( not that i can afford the insurance renewal.) Will also have a fight on my hands, because the repairs will cost more than the value of the car, and the insurers will want to write ani off. Another battle? Some stupid idiot has caused me so much grief, now.

I think someone up there is trying to tell me it's time. Or maybe just trying?

I've also felt ill today, i had the runs this morning and i felt very ill and sick this afternoon. I'm not sure if it's because i ate too much mouldy food yesterday, so i've thrown everything out, including the macaroni cheese :( I ate some bread with mould on, some sliced meat i found in the fridge? and the cheese was minging. Serves me right? I have thrown it all out now, as something smells. Will now clean the fridge. I still have plenty of tinned items. I don't feel hungry tonight, anyway. I don't think everything has hit me yet. There's nothing you can do about anything, anyway.

I'm sorry you have had such a scrap day. Hope tomorrow is a bit brighter. Don't think mould on bread or cheese would do you any harm, but meat is a different thing entirely.

I have a problem with eggs as I can't use even 6 within the eat by date. Scrambled eggs I had yesterday were 9 days out of date and the cheese was definitely mouldy. I couldn't bear to throw them away.

Hope you feel better tomorrow. I'm off for my diabetic check first thing.

    Night night all

I'm finding bread is going off more quickly in this weather. Sadly throwing things out and cleaning is the only answer. I think Flax is right, meat's the suspect. I remember a school experiment which showed that meat can go on looking all right for a long time after it's thoroughly bad! Veg, on the other hand, will show you if they're going off. I've heard that given as an argument for vegetarianism and as a former veggie I took it on board.

You aren't the only one clearing the fridge. I have to admit mine needed it and I've only done part of it. ;)

Flax, I ignore bbe dates on eggs. :) If they don't try to float and they smell okay, and the shell's perfect, I'll eat them.

As to the car, see what the garage says. It may not be the chassis, but better safe than sorry.
