Hmmm macaroni cheese sounds nice. I have a gammon joint to cook in mine this week...the meat just falls off the bone & is yummy:D:D
Anyone ever cooked a cake in their slow cooker?
Saw this at work today whilst trawling the breaking news & thought of you guys and your slimy critters (hmmm didn`t know that slugs were cannibals though:eek::eek::eek:)

I think I'll have to learn how to 'quote'
I'm not explaining how to do it, because it's taken me long enough to learn. However, it's simple when you know how. Does that help? :rotfl:Debt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?

Any mac and cheese left? I've got home from work and I can't actuall be 'arrissed to eat let alone cook. Feeling worn out today - bleugh. And it's been raining on and off all day - double bleugh.
Toms out getting the warmth and rain, little ones coming on quite well although will need potting out soon. Winning the SC war by bringing them in at night.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Yup, there's some left. I'll put the kettle on, ( i have a kettle.) :rotfl:Toms out getting the warmth and rain, little ones coming on quite well although will need potting out soon. Winning the SC war by bringing them in at night.
I have lots of sweet pea seedlings, tonight, in party land. i wonder how many i'll have tomorrow. The lupins are being badly hit again, too. The good news is - drum roll - i finally have a different colour lupin. Yippee, i have some lilac / blue ones, ( not sure yet.) They have all been pink so far. All i need now is for miggy to make a comment about coloursDebt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?

Mum is much better thanks, though staying in hospital for now.
The orchid is looking amazing and loved being out in the rain.(Er... I only remembered it 'cos I came on here!)
I suspect la famiglia miggy will soon be sampling macaroni cheese.:p
Alas! I think I'm the only one who eats it!Is there anything you can't cook in a slow cooker? Oh, i forgot - yorkshire puds and fish and chips
Well, you could cook them. The results might be innovative, but you never know till you try. Cake? I wondered that? I have used the slow cooker on low to raise bread dough and it did it beautifully, though a tiny bit was beginning to bake where it touched the bowl.
I too saw that slug article! I am not inspired to save them.My garden has now expanded into the world of pond life, and i now have toads. What would i have to talk about in the winter when the garden is under 6ft of snow?
When the garden is under 6' of snow we will talk about wrens and robins, and if it's really cold for a really long time we will start to rejoice that it might decimate the sc and spider populations for next season.Other than that we might just discuss early sowing of sweet peas and peppers?Did you see whats his face last night cooking in Brixton jail? That treacle and lemon curd tart. Yum
Funnily enough, saw that and thought of you.Not the prison bit, you understand.
I bet you could make lemon curd in a sc.
All i need now is for miggy to make a comment about colours
Who me?Mine are blue or blue so far.
Sorry for loooong post. Took me ages to get the computer off DS2.Miggy
