I've been toying with the idea of having just one treat, from my esa, but it doesn't seem appropriate. There have been several occasions when i've thought about joining the national trust, but its always been a luxury i couldn't afford. However, they have a deal at the moment. 12 months for the price of 9, and i'm sooo tempted. It doesn't seem right, to use taxpayers money, however, think of the decades of contributions i've made. And think of the benefits to my health and well being.

You've paid taxes - over and above - so why shouldn't you? Would you be making better use of taxpayers' money by sitting in front of the telly all day? Besides, I can eventually see you volunteering at a NT place. :)

I will forgive you for living in Fordingbridge - or was it Brighton? - if you will join the NT.

Hope you're feeling better... if not then go and see your GP. We will be asking, you know. ;)

ETA - Ani, I think I need your help. *Insert ingratiating smile*. I now have 81 tiny tomato plants and even if only 50% of them survive to adulthood, I have to DO SOMETHING!

Thats something else i want to do, go on a computer course. Some of those are free, too, but most of them are part way through, now. Mind you, i'm supposed to be going back to work. :rotfl:

No you're not - you're supposed to be resting. :naughty:

Chev, thanks, I did wonder about car booting them or something... my immediate problem is going to be putting them in individual pots: I have lots but they'll take a lot of space! Unfortunately the position of our house mitigates against selling them from the gate (narrow road with little traffic) but I think a variation on this theme would be best.

    Still tired, tired, tired.

I'm concerned i already have to complete this atos form for return to work. However, i will try not to worry about it too much, as actually, just when i thought things had settled to some degree, i've got a week where i have appointments with this or that person, almost everyday. Having a " big get together" on thursday, so i'll raise my concerns then. In reality, i've only received one of my benefits. There's still another three to go. Its still more than ironic you could spend all your time off sick, sorting benefits.
