I go AWOL for a couple of days and you get money/benefits/dental treatment/food/more flowers - maybe I had better go AWOL again, who knows what will happen then :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Its strange that after months of being off sick, the length of time taken to receive esa, could have such a profound affect on your situation, from all aspects. I receive another payment next week, as it's in arrears. I'm hardly rich, on £71 a week. Realistically, its going to be a huge struggle. £284 a month, and the gas, electric and water rates take most of that, even before anything else. Then there's still debt repayments, which all have to be worked out. Thank goodness its summer. Ish. I don't want to think about it until i go to the ***. Let them do the worrying. Got two appointments in the next week. Easier said than done.

I've been toying with the idea of having just one treat, from my esa, but it doesn't seem appropriate. There have been several occasions when i've thought about joining the national trust, but its always been a luxury i couldn't afford. However, they have a deal at the moment. 12 months for the price of 9, and i'm sooo tempted. It doesn't seem right, to use taxpayers money, however, think of the decades of contributions i've made. And think of the benefits to my health and well being. There's lots of places to visit around here, although you need a car. I still have ani for a few months, until the insurance and road tax expires. Ani is sat around doing nothing these days, also taking a break. Its not the right time for decision making, yet. What the hell, i should go for it, shouldn't i?

I did too much yesterday. After the work party and the fresh air, i was shattered, and i had a fall. Took a piece out of my clothing, my knees, and twisted my foot, and i'm still unsure whether i should have my foot checked out. How stupid was that? For no particular reason, except maybe tiredness and the loss of balance i experience. It just goes to show, i'd never manage to work. I'd never make it to work on time. It took me 3 hours to do the washing and have a bath, alone, to get out in the first place. Its so frustrating.

I'd decided to do some more potting when i got back, instead of resting. Just simple activities, we all take for granted, don't we? Anyway, i planted the troughs, and i've run out of compost, AGAIN. Shucks. Might clear an area of the garden, i now understand to be weeds :rotfl:, and plant some of the seeds, there. Getting lazy now, and taking shortcuts. I need some more compost for all these sweet peas, i have.

I've been looking at the prices of hanging baskets etc. £30 for a hanging basket? £70 for a trough ? Blimey. People have more money than sense. Mind you, my hanging baskets and troughs look nothing like these. Might do when they've grown, though.

Spent the morning sorting paperwork for council, tomorrow. Off to do some gardening although i can't kneel, lift..................

A fellow inmate, sorry, resident, invited me to the cinema tonight. I have no idea what i'm going to see, as i can't remember, but at least its free. They said , at the end of the conversation, i'll call for you at such and such, ( because they know i'll forget.) Why are you calling for me? Oh dear, things are seriously bad. In one ear and out, the other. Also been searching for other free events. There's a course on politics which is £40+ quid, but free to phlebs, sorry, those on benefits. Must enquire about that.Yeah, right. I'm sure in the past, i heard you also got free gym membership, if you were on benefits, too. I must look into that. Not that i'm up for training, but could make use of some relaxation facilities. Definitely.
