I rang dwp today, and my application for esa still hasn't even been processed yet. I don't know what an atos assessment is? I don't think i've reached that far yet, since they haven't even looked at the forms. They told me to ring back later in the week, when they would look into it.

I've already had my crisis loan, ages ago, when i needed some food, and this will have to come out of any benefits paid, too :( It wasn't much, £20 ish, if i remember.

They did the same to me I assume we claimed around the same time? Mine was sent in on the 13th Feb and Im still waiting for an update/reply. The Atos is basically a medical so you no longer need medical notes from your GP its suppose to be within 13 weeks of claiming but they have a backlog apparently (when do they not )

As for crisis loans you can apply for one every week until its sorted, when you apply tell them how much you need and what for they wont pay rent but Food/Gas/Elec/Loans they will help you with (they take it back at very low rate one at once so once you get esa say they take £1 a week they will clear Crisis Loan 1 .. Then onto Crisis Loan 2 when 1 is paid, so your not left "too short" to live)

Hope your feeling a bit better will keep reading to catch up x

Today feels like such a strange day. It really feels like i'm out into the big wide world, again. Signed off from ct today and seen sw. Realistically, there isn't much sw is able to do to help anyway, except offer support, once a week, not on all things money orientated. I'm still heavily dependent on the wro, who took time to care. Lucky for me, it was they who answered the phone, that first time. What, almost two months ago? I don't know where i'd have been without the ct, either.

Ultimately, it doesn't matter how you are feeling or if you can cope or not. If you don't have emotional and physical support from a partner or whatever, you got to somehow survive, in today''s soceity.Thats the thing i'm now finding the most difficult to cope with. Emotional support, and those times, when my thoughts turn to the dark side. I can't say they won't come again. I've got a long way to go, and there's still only one person who can do it.

Thats the part i find the most difficult. The lack of emotional support. Or someone just to give you a hug. Some sort of physical or emotional contact.

Bizarrely, i've spent most of the day laughing. I just find it hilarious, ( i know i shouldn't, ) that i still seem to be going round in never ending circles. I can't get this, because this has'nt done that, and so on and so forth. Without this, you can't get that. Blah blah

Had some more problems sorted with this place today, but can't get a definitive answer on the roof. Blah blah Thank gawd i don't have to pay for any of it. Just seems to be one problem after another, even with bricks and mortar. The council must be fed up of me now. Especially since i only have squatter's rights. I did a bit of gardening, today, but i still don't feel like i've landed, here. I still have to sort this place out, and be domesticated, (yuk,) and i still can't imagine a time whem i'll feel settled. I suppose its still minute by minute. If you can't do it, you can't do it. After making some phone calls, writing some letters, and the gardening today, i'm exhausted. Things i'd normally take for granted, and i'm sure most other people would, too.

Nobody has mentioned these crisis loans to me.

Not suprised you're feeling exhuasted / burnt out / cheeseed off / flipping mad / all of the above. I don't think anyone would think your situation could occur if they hadn't read it.

...oh, now pass those bloomin biccies back, you've been scoffing them all night :p

    Any biscuits left? :D

Ani, get yourself some rest or you'll be in a slump tomorrow. :) Have a {{hug}} though. You've earned it.

Hi, that's such good advice, thank you. I wouldn't have a clue but anything that will help Ani is good news to me. Sounds as though you've been through tough times too. I hope things are getting better for you now?

I seem to have been at work since mid-evening on Saturday and am only just capable of conversation so I'll say goodnight for now and hopefully be back tomorrow.
