    Aaaaargh

    I give up

Had a day from hell culminating with a letter from the council saying they are taking a direct debit for 2 months rent.

WHY? I've only had the tenancy 17 days

    YOU CAN'T HAVE WHAT I HAVEN'T GOT

What do i have to do?

    I give up

    Well, Thats that, then.

Despite the online calculator, which calculated my earnings, ( or lack of ), would qualify me to have my rent and council tax paid in full, apart from 1p) I've just received a letter from the council this morning, saying i'm sorry i can't pay you any benefit because your income is too high. So an income of £500 a month and rent and council tax alone taking £450 of this income, means i have £50 a month to pay water rates, utilities, gas, electric, contents insurance, thats before i have payments to payday loan companies, the cost of keeping ani on the road, and food? I've spent £10 on food this month, for which i am guilt ridden. I shouldn't have spent that £10.

    No matter.

I can't stop shaking or crying.

    Its time.

Cancel the direct debit. I knew it was too good to be true. Start emptying this house.

ani, don't start emptying the house.

wait until Monday, go down to the council offices, do you have a one stop shop? And talk to them.

As Aesop says Ani, got to the council on Monday complete with the details saying your rent etc would be covered - it sounds like there's been an admin error - there's no way on £500 a month you can be expected to pay £450 rent xx

    Their calculation must be wrong.

I wonder if the silly people are thinking it is £500 per week rather than per month IYSWIM.

Don't panic until you have been down to talk to them and asked them to recheck their calculations.

    I can no longer cope.

What is the point in writing thoughts, telling people how it is.

At the end of the day people may read or listen, but nobody actually cares.

My head is bursting, its going to explode I'm distraught, but WHO actually cares?

Hello, you dont know me, a long time reader of your diary, your writing has inspired me on my journey through life.

I dont have any advice, I wish I did and I wish I could help :(

Just wanted to comment on your last post, your statement: All anyone cares about is money, and without money, you can't live, just stood out for me.

On one hand it is true, about which without money you cant live, but I disagree about anyone just caring about money. Its a hard one to answer yes we need money to live, but through my journey personally have found that the real thing that I want, my beloved pony back, money cant give me. I would do anything in the world to have him back, but I cant.

This post probably doesnt make any sense as often not very good at putting my words down so please feel free to ignore it!!
