Life after bankruptcy?

I haven't for ages - not that I've given up but that I really need to start a fresh blog as my old one, based around homeschooling, is no longer relevant.
It would mean I spent less time on here, though - and really and truly I write better when I have people to talk to.
am debating whether or not to homeschool DS. Don't like the schools around here and a mum I was talking to yesterday was telling me DS may not even get into the schools I would choose as preferences.
Not to keen on schools round here....
I keep thinking about doing a blog, but I want it to be right before I launch it.
So need to find time to do that.0 -

yes problem these days, not enough hours in the day for everything.
I saw some sad news and caught up with someone i haven't spoken to for ages, but just trying to keep up with everyone i know, is too hard, something has to give.
I checked my surveys and found once again for a whole month have missed surveys. Luckily these companies keep me on their books but some don't. you keep missing surveys they remove you.0 -

If you have a link to my old blog, have a look round the site. Most of the homeschoolbloggers are American but there's a UK contingent on there and it's quite useful to chat to other people about their experiences to see if it might be for you.
You've probably come across Education Otherwise, which is very useful.
Most experiences of home education seem to be positive though it has to be said some people who have been home educated haven't been happy with it. For DD and me it only lasted a year as she then felt able to go back to school, but I'm glad we had that year. For my two sons, I doubt it would have worked: the older one would just have worn me out and still needed more input, and both of them turned out to be much better on the maths and science front than I am so I would have struggled to teach them. DD is more like me. Going through the formal education system has had pros and cons for all of them but I think only one of he three has really got more positives than negatives from it. Not sure they'd agree, though!Miggy

What a shame about last night. Its not very often i get to have a conversation, even though i struggle to keep up with the typing. Off to get ready for work. Back later.
I forgot, i noticed last night the holly tree has been cut down yesterday. I'm so upset as it gave my pleasure watching the berries grow. Just looking at it gave me pleasure. There must be something wrong with me. Philistines.

Nothing wrong with you - what a shame about the tree. They are cut down so easily and take so long to grow. As you say - Philistines!
Hollies take root here very readily so if ever you want some - perhaps they could live in a pot on the window sill unless you fancy taking up guerilla gardening - just PM me. Not today - need to clear inbox space.
I hope the computer holds out. Join your library just in case you need to use theirs.Miggy
