I hope you are enjoying you indoor barbe miggy.

The outdoors was covered in marquees, big brollies etc - very clever except I managed to sit near an overlap and got a deluge once the water had built up! Went indoorsthen which was much more comfortable.

Maybe i'm finding it a real strain living here. Its real middle class surburbia, and no one knows about my situation, here.

I expect it does make it worse in some ways but on the other hand you could be in some grey back street garret or something which would be depressing in another way.

A neighbour asked if i was going on holiday the other day. What could i say, except no.

I expect your work is seen as a reason for you not to go away.

Would they be shocked if they knew they had a leper in their midst?

I doubt you are the only one. We never know what goes on in other people's lives and behind closed doors.

Maybe i should write a book entitled " life in suburbia by an onlooker "

There is the basis for a TV series there.

When you are out in the big wide world all the time, nowadays it never ceases to amaze me, just watching what people spend their money on, and how much they spend.

More of 'how the other half live'. I am amazed what they throw away (been wombling again). It's only the ones who don't have or haven't had who seem to appreciate what money can do. There was a survey recently which showed that poorer people give more to charity than richer ones. I think that's because they appreciate that even a little helps - though you could argue that the richer ones didn't get that way by giving it away! (Not a view I agree with by the way).

I've asked this before. What would you do if you won the lottery?

I was going to say 'I'd be very surprised as I never buy a ticket', but you've just shown that's not necessary! I don't know is the answer. I can't even offer to get your things back for you though that would be a good way to spend some - but I don't know where you are!

interesting that. Just thinking about work and none of us really touch, except one woman, and I find her so false. I think she just touches to feel the cloth, (as in how expensive or cheap is it?)

ah but you see the people I work with are only interested in gossip, b*tching and spreading tales and rumour.

that is why we don't touch. and touching would not make me like them. I just pity them and have told them several times they should get out there and see what it is like in the real world!
