Its strange how nh became an outlet for my thoughts and the anonymity this affords ,the only outlet i have, for my thoughts.Debt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?

Diaries certainly have their uses. In my case it's as well it's anonymous as, like you, I can be myself - and in real life I daren't be quite as mad!
This is probably a good thing.
It's very strange how we can sometimes be more open with strangers than we can with people we see face to face.Miggy

I'm quite mad in real life too. I've always been what is termed a " character ". You just can't talk to yourself in real life, otherwise you might be certified.Debt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?

In our house, Ani, we all talk to ourselves - OH is a champ but I do it and all sons do it as well. As madness goes this is nothing. Give me another one!

Ok. Madness is when you answer yourself.
With that, i really shall take my leave, as the only reason i've stayed up so late is to watch Amy Winehouse.Debt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?

I don't feel as bad as i did yesterday morning, as i bought myself a few day, for the DD's. Still no money in my account, though, never mind buying food. Maybe i WILL have to think about c soon.
Work is very slowly trickling in, although maybe i should think twice about a job i've accepted. I'm expected to pay considerable expenses upfront, which is something i just cannot do. When youv'e no money in your bank account, youv'e no money. I find it frustrating that certain people at work just don't comprehend what its like to be in this state of affairs. How can you be expected to pay potentially £100's of pounds, upfront? Get a grip. Who has that sort of money in their bank account? Maybe some one who earns £100k pa, or maybe actually, a normal human being. Get a grip. Money is becoming an obsession, or maybe the lack of it. For one fleeting moment yesterday, other ways of acquiring money crossed my mind. This is seriously bad.Debt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?

You are quite welcome in my suitcase, so long as you don't mind travelling on the conveyer belt and possibly getting re-routed to Moscow or Bahrain.
Not going for a couple of weeks yet - and apparently I won't get on the Internet while there () so you will all have to send sympathetic thoughts.
I'm glad you've got some work again, though I see exactly what you mean about the costs up front. It's preposterous that they are asking you to fund working for them, especially to this extent. Where I work there have been occasions where people have refused to go on training courses because the travel was too expensive, and we're not talking hundreds either.
Is there any possibility (I know it's a long shot) that they would buy you a train ticket or something? They would be able to claim it back if for some reason you didn't go. If the money is for items needed to do the job, could they be asked to order them on your behalf?Miggy
