Happy Birthday AesopWasn't that maty moo's birthday, Aesop?
Hmmm medicine and chips. Thats given me a good marketing idea. I'll start a take away selling medicine and chips. With or without curry sauce?
Firstly, sorry for not posting much but I have been reading so I can keep track of you all
Yes, my birthday is near yours :jI suppose you could say i've had a good week. All the housekeeping / cleaning is done and dusted, hohoho. I didn't make any lists, but then i've never made a list in my life. Well, maybe i made a shopping list or two, around 35 years ago. Thats not to say there's anything wrong with me or you, just that everyone is different. Done some more ' downsizing ' . Its surprising how quickly things accumulate. I want to travel light, from now on. Tidied out the garage, which i hadn't touched since moving in. Looking at my car today, reminded me i haven't repaired the roof, which i should have done whilst the weather has been dry, ( since i can't get the car in said garage ). Since boxes are expensive, i'm keeping them ready for the next move. This is the one thing i should make an effort to do, next week. I already have the cow gunge, or whatever its called :rotfl:, so all its going to cost me, is time. I'm fed up of driving along and needing an umbrella, when it rains. Thinking about it, the car insurance will soon be due for renewal, maybe i should spend some time seeing if i can reduce the cost of my insurance, within my limited status, ( remember, i'm bankrupt ). A car orientated week, next week, hmmm, its not been washed for what? 9 months, either :rotfl: Surprisingly, it doesn't look that way, though. Maybe i should give it, its annual wash. Poor thing
I was cream crackered yesterday. I stayed up the whole night before last, determined not to be out thwarted by a website. It paid off, and the early bird got the worm, or worms, which i have mixed feelings about, right now. Its been in my thoughts all year, and the only thing thats kept me going, its something i simply must do. Now i'm on the way to achieving it but at the expense of everything else. I just hope that changes by the end of the month, and then i don't feel so guilty.
Oh heck, i've had visitors whilst i've been writing this, ( in between having tea ).
Car washing is over rated!
And I see you are being as cryptic as ever! You do like to keep us guessing, I am hoping it is some sort of small treat
Never been a great lover of spam but there used to be something called bacon grill (I think) which was quite nice sliced and fried. Must have been cheaper than bacon for Mum to feed it to us I think :rotfl::j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -
Definitely fish.
Beanie, sorry about the healthy eating. You and me, both.
Ani, you're being cryptic and my brain can't cope. Still, if it makes you happy...Miggy

This is a new one on me. I've never heard of bacon grill. Maybe its something regional? or a posh version of something? :rotfl:
Yep i agree car washing is over rated, which is why i'm never likely to make it to a car show. I've missed the one i wanted to go to, which shows how enthusiastic i was about it in the first place.
Yes, it is a small treat, ( i'm not allowed them, am I )?Debt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?

Its strange people say i'm cryptic, but maybe i'm still over wary of the dreaded T word and such, bearing in mind what i've been through. Have a good day, everyone. xxDebt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?

I remember bacon grill from the 1980s. I think it was an 80's version of spam. Quite nice grilled on toast with brown sauce if I remember rightly.
Treats?Have you washed your hands, finished your greens and asked if you may get down?

Just when I had so successfully convinced everyone that I'm a Jack Russell - Ani, you have blown my cover! and it was going swimmingly, too. However, I must keep my sense of proportion: in the SCALE of things it won't matter at the FIN-ISH.
Why does Monty Python's dead parrot keep coming to mind?Miggy

Eggsallent, ( sorry, its the best i can do ):rotfl:
Eeugh. Personally i hate Jack Russells.
I've never been a Monthy Python fan, so the dead parrot is, err, straight over the top of the head
I hope all is well xxDebt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?
