Miggy, this is the key. If i was getting some help with my rent, it would make all the difference between sink or swim. If your income is 6K or 7K, a year, and your rent is £6600 pa, it does'nt take for some one with a degree in maths to work out why i can't afford to live.

In short, Life after bankruptcy is little different to life before bankruptcy. Who can deny it? You can't honestly say that, yippee, going bankrupt is going to solve all your problems, because in some instances, you are still going to encounter the same problems which drove you to bankruptcy, in the first place. Its not always a question of being positive, put it all behind you, and move on.

Its a bloody miracle i've reached the stage i'm at, now. How many of you, could have survived, i ask? Of course it has'nt always been like this. I was earning substantially more, when i moved into my former home. The downturn in the economy has hit my industry hard, and its always one of the first to be affected. My main worry has always been, how am i going to sustain a roof over my head? With rent the price it is? Its funny, someone wrote on mse, they would happily live in a cardboard box, if they had their family. But i wonder, if thery were faced with that very real prospect, would they happily live in a cardboard box? I doubt it. Its still a prospect thats not so far away, and it is'nt an option. Not to me, anyway.

    Yes i'm working today, sigh

Everyday, is a work day, in some form or other. Everyday for the rest of my life, is a work day, ( thats if i'm extremely lucky ).

So what is the point of life?

I forgot to mention, Aesop. I'm doing well on the roadkill front. I found a whole £1 coin, yesterday. Yippee. 3, one pences on saturday, 2p the day before that, and a 5p piece, the day before that. So thats £1.10, in the last few days. Its been a bonanza. I will put it in my £2 pot, but i might get some odd looks on the £2 savers, thread, as the pot reaches an odd amount :rotfl::rotfl:

I've only got one jar, anyway, ( still using a pasta sauce jar ), can't even afford a money box. :rotfl:

    Who b*y cares. :o

Yes, i did that several weeks ago, when i bought new files. After this mornings work,i'm all straight again.Managing to keep on top of it, for once. All work documents, ready for onslaught

That's good, then. A weight off your mind and the satisfaction of a massive job done.

who b*****y cares what you are saving your money in! It could be an old shoe box, an old sock. It doesn't matter where you save it, it is about the saving ;)

My money goes in a coffee jar, that I have washed out. And no I haven't covered it and sealed it, for emergencies reason.

I could get DS to decorate it, he would love that. Hmmm might do that this week, let him craft all over it.

By the way do you read the 1p thread for tesco finds? Might help withe food situation :o.

Hope you have a good day at work. x

Thanks Aesop! :) I have just been over there taking notes. ;)

I may take some money out of our (undecorated) [STRIKE]pasta jar[/STRIKE] coppers jar on the off-chance I can find the Tratoria Verdi. (Sorry I can't remember how to spell it). A whole 20p and my family lives off pasta sauces, which might explain why I still have all those anchovies...

Hi Ani, just dropping in to say Hi, and say that I care too x Good news about your NI - it's a small step I know, but one in the right direction. You have done amazingly well to get to where you are and I won't pretend to know how hard it must be because I have never been in your position - but I can give you my support x

Aesop - how are you? life seems to be dealing you a carpy hand too atm.

Good reminder about the pasta sauce - I might go and have a nosey in Mr T tomorrow..oh wait...supposed to be trying to clock up my first NSD....might be Fri instead...

ps I save 5p's in an old Vodka bottle from a holiday I went on when I was 19...err...not sure exactly what impression of me that gives!

My money is in a shoe box under the bed - there, now you all know where to find my stash.

Well done on getting the NI sorted Ani, hope the HB claim goes ok.
    Whatever
