when I signed up with my dentist, I asked " do you do NHS as I can't afford private treatment" yes I do. was the answer.

hmmm, until it comes to root canals!

I don't know what to say about your job. It is carp! that is for sure!

move down south, you can have mine, it is carp but at least it is a regular wage and you personally would qualify for WTC. I don't, as until I submit DH's tax return, we are over the threshold. What a joke! Can't live on the money we earn, or at least I can't live on the money I earn...

Slight progress since last post. The person who was supposed to have given me the message has been contacted, and they verify they were'nt given the message, either. Just got to take on someone sat in an office somewhere, who will never admit to failing to do their job. For once i'm not going to let this drop. I've worked too hard. In the meantime i've got to drag myself out and finish the job, tomorrow, so no one can turn round and say i did'nt fulfil the contract i did'nt have. Wait and see if they agree to pay me, tomorrow, then tell them to take a running jump with the work that needs redoing.

Go for it! And I think now might be the time, while they are on the wrong foot so to speak, to lean on them for some results.

I hope you get some sleep... will be thinking of you tomorrow (you know where to come for reinforcements).

And while I remember - I'd be a fan-tailed goldfish or a swallow. Not at the same time.

Ani is only on narrow band, so probably why couldn't see the pic, that is why I posted it.

Well, it is nearly 11pm, I want to go to bed and guess what I am doing, unpaid? stuff for work! Someone at work today mentioned I hadn't completed a particular task and until I did, they couldn't go out and get us more contract work. Laid it on really thick... must think I am thick!

So the short of it is, I have emailed to myself at home to complete, and will email back tonight. Then tomorrow they can have it to and drag in work we do not really want, but do need, not want due to the distance and the difficulty we are going to have placing people there! :mad: they know this but don't care, and have deliberately gone all out to get the contract :mad: Stupid because it is a new qualification we are doing, and this is a very steep learning curve, not one we can afford to mess up on!

But hey, if it makes them look good and keeps them in a job, why should they care? After all I am the one who is going to have to deal with the fallout from it all! :cool:

I applied for another job last week, more money, less hours. I'm over qualified for it, and guess what, they realised and therefore did not give me an interview
