what version are you using?the new or old style "face" of MSE? I am on the new style.
If you are using a different style, I will need to have a look at them.

yes, if you are getting certain benefits like income support, working tax credit, jobseekers allowance, certain incapacity benefits, you are entitled to free eye tests, help with glasses, not free, but they give you a certain amount towards a new pair, free prescriptions, etc.
So yes Ani, you need to get your NI paid so you can claim all this. The dentist is not completely free either, if you are registered with an NhS dentist, they may still charge you for some of the treatment. But it is a lot less than private dentists.
Not yet sorted dentist. today day off but have a lot to do in house.
fighting on mse... well verbal fighting, on different threads, particularly the DTD thread - under shopping. it has carried over to another thread I post on, but that is been taken into hand and dealt with.
problem with virtual world, everyone can take umbrage at things people post and then the arguments start.
I'm lucky enough to be registered with an nhs dentist, although its out of my area now, and i have'nt told them i've moved, because nhs dentists are like gold dust! So maybe the difference in cost, is negligible?
Thats true, the written word is always open to misinterpretation.
I'll have to go. Its 9 o'clock, and i have'nt done anything yet, and i don't even know where i'm going today :rotfl::rotfl:
Back later, if i've time when i'm sorted.
Have a good day everyone :ADebt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?

Ah, miggy ?
Moi?
Might have been but I can't remember! Currently feeling like ConfusedDotCom.
BTW - am on nights Thursday/Friday so if I appear at all, will be making less sense than usual.
Folks, get those dentists sorted as soon as you can.Let's just say I'm glad I have an appointment last week (forgot my last one) and every evening recently I've felt the niggling tooth niggle a bit more. Am so scared of the terrible pain I had when the another tooth died that I am going to prioritise this. And it may be worth seeing if your dentists will work with you regarding when you can afford to pay. Last year mine was willing for me to book when I could afford the work even though it meant it wasn't done for a few months.
Ani, good luck with the NI repayments and benefits claims. You are incredibly conscientious regarding work and I applaud your willingness to earn your way, but I think for your health's sake you have to make claims. Do I need to be thinking of you in the wee small hours tonight? Andare you managing to eat okay?
(Loves ya really)!

Crikey, where did the morning go? Just a quickie, must go for a shower before i go.
Up to date with work and filing again. Its a never ending task, being organised, however it saves me days, even weeks trying to find everything, further down the line. Gold star award, i think, ( this is ME , we're talking about ).
I have'nt cancelled dentists yet, but i'll have to, tomorrow or monday, unless i ask if i can defer payment, ( until when )? :rotfl::rotfl:
I am, conscientious, re work, i also enjoy my job, on the whole, in fact, a few people have said that to me recently. Theres something about you're jobs, Aesop and miggy? which makes you continue too? be it the money, or job satisfaction? from what you've both said already.
Miggy, you can think of me in the wee small hours tonight, if you like. However, with a bit of luck zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz :rotfl:
Don't work too hard, and thanks for keeping me company, both of you. Its good to chat, huh?
Ta rah, for now xxDebt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?

money is the only reason I go to work, especially these days!
they are piling on the work, so they want me to work like I am in for a full week, in just 3 days!
seen another job, applying for it.0 -
I used to love my job, and I'm good at it, but I don't like the place I'm working very much so I'm on the lookout for something else too. However, nights aren't too bad so the urgency has gone out of it.
Ani, the gold star looksvery nice.Miggy
