Oh well, so much for me working the multiquote function, you'll have to dig for my replies, in the above :rotfl::rotfl:
RIGHT. to quote someone, just one quote, click on quote, this will bring up the reply box with their quote.
move down the box, do not amend anything they have written or remove any of the brackets.

right..... to multiquote as above....
first choose the first post you want to quote. Then click on the 2 balloons (pink and orange), these are multiple quote button, if you hover over it, it says multiquote.
it will put a tick in the balloons to say you are using this post.
Then choose the next post you want to quote, and tick the balloons again.
If this is the only two posts you want to quote, then do not tick the balloons, click on the quote button instead, this will post your first post and the second one.
is that a bit clearer?
am suffering from deja vous. Someone has said this a long time ago.0 -
MIGGY, you earn more than me, LOL
I work 22 and half hours a week and take home about £650 dependent on the month and if I have worked all my hours, I am paid by the hour, not salary.
I'm around, just busy with other stuff, surveys and reading all the fighting going on mse as usual - the virtual world. Now if only the real world could be like that, virtual, we wouldn't have war.
I read a lot on my phone when out and about, but can't reply, takes up too much memory to log into mse. So have been reading.
Am ok, tooth aches now and again, will sort out new dentist soon.
Work is carp, we are getting hit with problems left right and centre, and it is all my fault.
Fighting. On Mse? Way above the top of my head, i'm afraid, ( for which, i think, i'm thankful ). Where is the fighting section? :rotfl:
I received a few more p**'s yesterday which ' bumped ' up my income slightly, and its taken my income to around £600 a month, at the moment. I suppose the most worrying thing is, thats for one person. If you have a partner, helping financially, its the old two ( or more ), can live as cheaply as one, syndrome, ( or thats the way i see it ). You still have to pay more or less, the same amount of rent/mortgage, council tax, ( yes i know about the 25% discount )! utility bills, water rates, per month, regardless of how many people live in the property. £600 just does'nt stretch that far. If the HA, would house me, how much would rent cost a month, £200 - £300? Much more affordable to me. But of course, i'm right at the bottom of their priority list, still.
Hope you get the dentist sorted x
I keep cancelling my dental appointments as i have'nt had the cash to go, but they rang me the other day, and brought my appointment forward by a month, to my disdain, as i still can't afford to go, ( even though i've had toothache on and off, i can live with it, well, i've had to ). Its next week, and i'll have to decide whether to cancel soon, as i'll get charged anyway. I'd forgotten about the free dental treatment, eye tests, prescriptions, spectacles? if you are on benefits? Is that right Aesop?
If so, i'll cancel, as i've got to get myself on benefits asa. I was reading on here, yet another person was receiving £2,000 a month, largely benefits. Thats £24,000 pa, for doing? Nothing? Theres no logic to it, and its so frustrating. People as a generalism, claim they receive up to £2,000 a month, in benefits. If thats the case, where is the incentive to go to work? I must want my head testing. Or maybe i just don't use my head.Debt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?

yes, if you are getting certain benefits like income support, working tax credit, jobseekers allowance, certain incapacity benefits, you are entitled to free eye tests, help with glasses, not free, but they give you a certain amount towards a new pair, free prescriptions, etc.
So yes Ani, you need to get your NI paid so you can claim all this. The dentist is not completely free either, if you are registered with an NhS dentist, they may still charge you for some of the treatment. But it is a lot less than private dentists.
Not yet sorted dentist. today day off but have a lot to do in house.
fighting on mse... well verbal fighting, on different threads, particularly the DTD thread - under shopping. it has carried over to another thread I post on, but that is been taken into hand and dealt with.
problem with virtual world, everyone can take umbrage at things people post and then the arguments start.0 -

what version are you using?the new or old style "face" of MSE? I am on the new style.
If you are using a different style, I will need to have a look at them.
on and the £2,000 a month benefits... if they have lots of kids and don't work, or if they are on incapacity, they may well qualify for that amount.
The thing is there are genuine people out there with disabled partners, children, etc, who are carers, etc, they are entitled to this money as the extra costs involved in caring, this money helps.
But on incapacity benefit, you get some non genuine people who are claiming because they can get away with it. But then there are genuine people who would love to work, but really cannot due to illness, disabilities, etc.0 -
