Oh went back to work couple of hours ago, think he was pleased to go back for a rest :rotfl: hes booked on ferry for Ireland tonight so at least he should get some sleep!
I am going to try to get drs appt for tomorrow, don't feel I can go back to work yet, GA does not agree with me and also the dressing changing is not easy, local hosp does it 11.30 till 1.30 then again at 5 - 7. I work 9 till 5.30 and the way I am feeling at the moment no way I can go after work unless they keep me in overnight:rotfl:the daytime one is a no no too as I do not drive and hosp is 1.5 miles from work, by the time I have walked up there and had it done no way I can walk back down to work. Yes, I could get a taxi.....if such named thing was easily available in our town, we have to be the only town I know that has a taxi rank with no taxis in it!
OH took me out for lunch today, (think he was getting a bit overwhelmed with the cooking thing, mind you, I supervised him doing a risotto last night and it was great) was ok, couldn't eat much but unfortunatly Bosses son came in, hes the one who I had run in with couple of weeks ago.....not sure how me putting in sick note will go down well *shruggy shoulder smiley* TBH I'm not sure I care, I know how I feel, ok to eat lunch, but 8 hrs at work :eek:whoever said laughter was the best medicine has clearly never tasted wine

I seem to have been chasing my tail all day today......
Congratulations to Falady - lovely name, Katie is one of my favourites.......
I had my saturday lie in today OH brought me brekkie in bed. I finally got at at 10am and stripped the bed, by 10.30 OH was in bed with a dizzy, I had to put the clean sheet and two pillow cases on and he just pulled the duvet up without the cover.
I had finished OH's socks last night, so decided to finish a jumper I knitted 3 years ago, I hate picking up the stitches to do the vee neck......however its finished and tried on, its great. OH finally came through just about 1pm.
I had put the sheets out when the rain cleared and also put a gammon joint in the pressure cooker, we were having some for tonights supper, tomorrow with a salad and the rest sliced up and frozen for sandwiches, also made an apple and gooseberry crumble for supper, prepped the veg, and brought iin the laundry before it started to rain again, so its been ironed and is airing ready to be put away.
After lunch I made the bed, sliced the gammon and then cooked the supper, gammon, roast potato's, cauliflower, green beans and mustard sauce, crumble and cream to follow.
Since supper I have sat and started to knit a hat with the wool left over from OH's pullover. My next job is to hand quilt the wall hanging. I layered it on Wednesday at the quilt group.
I have a friend arriving Thursday, so may be AWOL......Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -
