Hi Everyone

Instructings for getting extra smilies if the copy and paste way don't work (it won't on mine). Go to the smilie on Hypersisters that you want, right click, select Copy Image Location, come back here, go to the picture of the mountain with the sun on the toolbar for the box
, open in and paste the location in, and hey presto
Hope the above helps.
Well DS has now gone off to have lunch with friends before he returns to London. It is hard to fit everyone in when he comes home, and we had 5 days with him and his GF for my birthday, so it was friends turn this time. We provided bed, breakfast and taxi duties
. We have also decided to go and have a few days in London staying in a Premier Inn, North of London with easy tube links in, to see him and his GF and also do some sight seeing, and maybe catch a show.
Lunch has been a sandwich with HM bread, and DH has just said he fancies some parkin, think it may need some black treacle so may be a ginger cake instead, think I will rope him in to an afternoons baking.
Congrats Falady DS was a PITA re feeding, ended up putting him on a bottle to get out of the hospital, and he never did take to baby milk, one midwive decided that he disliked my milk slightly less than he disliked powdered
He never hurt, and group up fit and well, so don't let them panic you, always just above the bottom line for growth/age.
Catch you later. :hello: newbies/returners
:grouphug: where needed

Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?0 -
Thanks for that, I had no ideacamelot1001 wrote: »BTW Tru, I thought food companies weren't allowed to put water in chicken if it has a bone in, just chicken breasts, etc.
The taste test went as I thought - everyone picked the free range
The other was OK though. I have a dilemma - price or principals? :undecided I hate the thought of an unhappy chicken, but can't afford to buy free range for much longer. Might just give up buying it altogether.
The mini-trus are on their final warning. One more pee-take in this house and they'll get a month's notice to leave. Me and mr tru have had enough.
I have no chocolate.
Here's hoping for a better day tomorrow

ohhhhh Congratulations Falady, I am so glad everything is ok, I was getting really worried.
Shysarah, I hope you feel much better soon, bet you are glad to be home.
The make-up party went really well yetserday and I ended up earning more than I thought as the Mum wanted a make-over too! Had a non OS chinese take-away with friends last night, but a very good time was had by all so well worth it. I had a good tidy up downstairs yesterday, it looks so much better, it really does make my head feel less cluttered too! Hugs to all x x x xHmmm will add up debt and stick on on later!0 -
Afternoon All
Hope you continue to feel better Shysarah, sounds nasty but a good job you went to the hospital.
Welcome back to returners and hello to newbies.
Been up to Glasgow today with DD, went to the Barras for a look around. Not been for about 10 years and we were very disappointed, not at all as we remembered, didn't seem to be any real 'characters' there and the stuff for sale was total carp. The antique type stuff used to be good too but I suppose the e-bay revolution has cut that back. It also smelt really badly of grease from the cafes. Oh well, I will know not to go again! Also went for a nosey at some of the shops but I woke up today with a sore back so didn't manage much. (I really dislike shopping anyway!)
Went to friends for supper last night and a few drinks which was good, had a good catch up and good food. Didn't get in till after 12 so I am quite tired today - I need my 8 hours. I still wake up at 6ish but this morning I took a cup of tea back to bed and read for a while.
Tea today will be hm chicken and rice soup that DS2 made yesterday. He also bought a turkey drumstick for the week's sandwiches (quite impressive for a 21 year old student) so that has been cooked and the bone, etc, in the SC to make stock.
Having a cuppa then going to put away some summer stuff - don't think I should be going out in shorts any more this year!
Take care XX0 -
Got back from work a couple of hours ago and i've been freezing and on/off napping ever since! Come down with a cold in a matter of hours?! Was also told at work that they forgot to add the activities for my course to the rota at work and said I'd be needed for those tomorrow, just got a copy of the new rota and instead of helping out with the activities/questions for my course they've put someone else there and got me as a floater

Afternoon all.
Have just decluttered guest + dog back to High Wycombe, and I'm totally shattered.
Falady many congratulations - good to hear from you, hope the feeding is going OK.
Shysarah hope you're feeling a bit better - make sure to get that rest!
Redruby awww, poor little dog; hope the stuff the vet's given her helps.
Well, my efforts at baking yesterday were appreciated, thankfully; I need about a week's bedrest now though, I reckon. I'd forgotten how tiring it is having anyone over!:rotfl:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Evening all
I had nice day at Ikea. Didn't end up getting the bookcase that I wanted cos I didn't like it in real life IYKWIM! I did see a lovely sideboard that I really want but it's £100 more than the bookcase and I couldn't justify that at the moment. I did get some curtain poles though, for £10 each
which is fab cos my windows are 2.5metres long and the ones I'd seen elsewhere were £40 each . My Dad is coming over tomorrow so we can have a DIY session. I haven't got curtains yet but I didn't have any last winter, just blinds, so I'll cope til I find cheap ones. OOh actually my mum has a pair of mine stored in hers so I'll get my Dad to bring those tomorrow.
I need to have a massive tody now tonight so my dad can get in here :rotfl: there is stuff everywhere. I've ebayed a few things and need to parcel them up for posting. dinner will be something simple.
Have a good evening all
