    Oh lovely - a short day and then it's the weekend :j :j :j :j

We have the car boot in the morning, but I am coming home at 9 am as I have to take eldest pooch to vets for 9.50 am as the rash on her feet/legs is still bothering her. Then I am waiting to hear when electrician is coming to my friends to fix her heating problem - they said afternoon but will text me confirmation of time in morning. Rest of day will depend upon when they are coming as I have to be at her's for them

Goodnight SW 000201F3.gif count those sheep and you'll be asleep in no time :D:D x x x

Hiya Steve - yes, not done much today. Didn't get up till 11.20 am for a start  but I've done the hoovering (unusual for me :D), tidied the kitchen up which really needed it, and did a little supervision of Mr 3Dogs as he cleared out the shed. He got everything out into the garden and only put back what needed to be there, plus some eBay stuff. He put car boot things into the van and took them down there ready for tomorrow. And he also has a couple of boxes of bits to throw away, so it was a good job well done :T

It's been a lovely warm mostly sunny day here, which is how hubbie managed to get the shed cleared, as last time he tried, it rained and he had to shove it all back in again unsorted

How's your day been then pet?

    Hi 3dogs,
Sounds like mr 3dogs has been very busy in his shed.. Just got to keep it tidy. Maybe he could come and do mine sometime? :rotfl:

Well my day has been steady as with having Andy on hols for 3 days so the chores are shared and we did a top on food shopping at his store where he works and then came home and chilled out till about 3pm as both got invited to a friends house in the village for a cuppa and him and his wife gave us some nice big slices of cake with a little birthday cake in the middle and the cake was playing the tune of HAPPY BIRTHDAY so in all Andy has has 3 birhtday cakes this week. Then came home and cooked the evening meal then we went out for our ususal drive to the coast and watched the boats and ferries going by.

We are of to London again but this time with some friends who are coming over in the morning to pick us up then drive to the railway stn to leave there car and all head upto London by train which we got the tickets realy cheap:j
Not sure what we are doing there but its not a stream trip as that will be in Novemeber from Swanage to London..
Sw sounds like youve been busy today at work. The weather here today has been good till late afternoon when the heavens opened and rained.

Anyway hope your all ok and good luck with the car boot sale and with the dog with the rash.

Vet said Bonnie's skin problem could be caused by fleas/mites, allergy, .... many things so gave her different steroid cream, shampoo which will kill any fleas/mites, get rid of dander, ease irritation, etc plus Advoc*te flea/mite killer spot-on. I am to use the shampoo and Advoc*te on all of them. If no improvement in month, go back and they will take skin scrapings for analysis.

Went back out to car and ....... it wouldn't start. The engine wouldn't turn over - the battery was flat. Rang Mr 3Dogs and he spoke to mate who came down and started it with jump leads. I thought I'd better not push my luck by going shopping, so I came straight home. Electrician came to check friend's heating and said he would get in tough with installers, as they have service contract for heating they fitted.

Went to go back down to car boot and ........ car wouldn't start again. I was just going to try jump leads from a spare battery, when my friend pulled up, so I went round to her's for a chat. She feels lots better, though she is worried about her Dad now, as he has altziemers and is confused and wandering. She'd come back for a few more clothes and a shower as Mum just has a bath. We then tried to jump start my car, first with spare battery and then from her car, but no luck  Rang hubbie and market manager offered to drop him off on his way home - has been trying to start car but no luck so far. Doesn't think it's the battery - more likely loose fanbelt and/or loose lead/bad connection - he is working on that now and has the battery on charge in the meantime

So we have been unable to look in at the auction or do my shopping yet
