I sent them an email too. lets see what they have to say about this.0

I prefer Tesco Value to Heinz anyway LOL0

Having three kids on a limited (who isnt?) budget we always have beans from ALDI, last week the wife bought two tins of heinz beans saying "these used to be the only beans that i would eat when i was little" when she tried them the children & her agreed they were not a patch on our NORMAL ones at a quarter of the price!!!0
-
I recon that heinz may be re-cycling the beans already by changing the lables of some VERY cheap beans and putting their own labels on going by the taste of theirs0
-
Well, no reply from them as yet.
I think I hit a nerve with my question if they are exchanging a big tin of beans for their little tins.
And i wanted to know what they "Exactly" mean about recycling beans.
LOL0 -
The Heinz website declares: "Please note, you can only exchange one can per person" so it does not look like you can "swap your 20 tins of Netto`s best for 1 can of Heinz`s"0

Branston are the king of beans now.. would never buy Hienz they seem all watery.0

Heinz beans are horrid - always lots of loose skin bits floating around and they are a horrid colour. Asda own brand are my favourite. Branston taste nice but I think they have vegetable oil as an ingredient and I cannot for the life of me see why that is necessary.0

Even still, I can't imagine Silihillians wanting to take part in such a vulgar publicity stunt so Heinz's idea to host the event at Touchwood and not the Bullring/Pallasades/Pavillions (poss to avoid a central Bham boycott or demonstration?) will end up flopping anyway.
I hope.
It makes me mad to think that there are small minded people out there, I mean not all silhilians are snobs. I was born in solihull and not a snob, I was not born with a silver spoon in my mouth and neither did we have much money. Yes it is true that some people in solihull can be and are snobs, but to lump us all into the same catagory makes me mad. I mean there snobs in every town and city everywhere. I just feel annoyed that people are classing us all together, and it is not that I live there or anything because I don't. This thread was supposed to be about beans and the offer heinz has and not some slanging match between city's!!:mad:0 -
Well, I never got a reply from Heinz.
So I think they dont want people to know what they are going to do with the excess beans plus as I suspected they might give you a small can for a big/regular sized can of beans.0
