I also agree with Thrifty. You would be throwing away perfectly good food, potentially indirectly harming the environment by letting Heinz dump thousands of cans, for an indiscrimate substitute product! We all know Heinz beans are the same as any other beans.0 -
You can get 4 tins of heinz beans for a quid in Asda at the mo.
Makes this a bit too hardcore saving for me.

pagey wrote:Heinz are being boycotted by many in Birmingham after their decision to close the HP Sauce factory in the city with the loss of 120 jobs, to move production to Holland - I now dont buy any Heinz products (Branston baked beans and tomato ketchup are just as good!) but good luck to anybody who can make some money out of them!
I am also boycotting Heinz for this reason, but I might take advantage of this promotion because it will be costing Heinz money! It won't make me buy any Heinz products in future, which is presumably what they're hoping.
Good for you in boycotting them by the way, nice to meet someone else who is bothering. BOYCOTT HEINZ!
And let them know you're doing it and why by dropping them a line at http://www.heinz.co.uk/content/talk_to_us.aspx - only takes a minute!0
