I have the same stool to makeover, it has splash marks from decorating so I am painting it white and will put wallpaper on the top and bottom step. This pic is my inspiration but I havent chosen the wallpaper yet pall1.png

has anyone ever used spray gun for painting furniture? i am painting a set of drawers and finding the brush marks shows up:-(
I paint with a brush then quickly go over it with a dry mini gloss roller while the paint is wet, it smooths the brush marks out and gives it a nice finish.

  • I have found a range called Shades for outdoor use and I'm going to do my bench and love seat in country cream and my garage in willow/sage.
We are also awaiting the arrival of a new chicken coop which I would love to paint blue but DH doesn't know that bit yet I may save that bit of info for next year!!

looks like a big paint roller but smaller about 4 inch wide and solid sponge not fluffy.
