Covered my old desk with images from Edwardian Diary.

Had some good box lids from when kitchen was done so kept them to use instead of a canvas.

I saw my favourite paint shop in town had a sale on paint very unheard of. I shouted stop the car to my husband. I ended up walking home with a huge tin of paint and a small one. Fiver each. One is normally £35 and the other £15 I think. Its my favourite Earthborn claypaint.the big one is a natural type colour and small one a pale yellow. One problem I dont' have anything easy to paint! anyone in west oxfordshire they had farrow and ball, dulux trade and other brands . It was from relics of witney .

I was given two library card index cabinets which I've painted with ascp Antibes, and I made some home made cp and gave my 2 ancient brown metal filing cabinets a yellow facelift

  • Chalk Paint and that modern orangey pine furniture that you want to paint, will result in yellow stains seeping through all your hard work. You have to use a primer.

Having painted a heap of pine furniture I left it to dry and returned to a mess of yellow stains.

The solution is Black Friars Problem Solving Primer then chalk paint...but even then I do think Chalk Paint over rated.

I've never had any stains with varnished orange pine, only waxed.
