Vix's link is there but Dee Dee's seems to have been removed.
The lace and patchwork shades look great, but if you want one with a single fabric then this site has some instructions

Can I ask what you did to transform it? I have an old dresser that I would love to brighten up, but I haven't got a clue as to what to do or where to start.

it will depend on what kind of wood your dresser is made of and it's finish eg waxed or varnished - have you got a pic?

Love the dresser makeover, your dresser is identical to the one my hubs has just painted for my mum!
