I'd go for whatever will give you a bit of weight to the fabric, it's amazing how much cold chill from the window blinds can block, so the thicker the better.
Have popped a couple of sneaky peek photos on my blog, love, love, love the wood.
My kitchen walls are being tiled today! :j
I went to Cath Kidston - got some fabric for a Roman blind - reduced to £12 metre! :money:Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

I treated myself to a couple of old wooden tennis rackets for £1 at the Boot Fair at the weekend in the hope of giving them the treatment but can't decide what to do with them. I think one may end up as a chalk board but would love suggestions for the others? I don't want a jewellery holder or a mirror and the only other thing I can think of is as a small pin board for the wall above my (soon to be realized) craft corner. Can anyone think of anything different?0

1 part plaster of Paris dissolved in 1 part of hot water.
Then quickly mix in 3 parts of any good water based paint!!!
I've just done this, this afternoon:

I had some leftover diluted paint from the wicker dipping so decided to VERY quickly spruce up my summerhouse furniture a little bit.
Not a big project but it was a good use of the paint.:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

I just use a clear soft beeswax.
Remember to buy a lint free cloth though. They are only less than a quid in wilkinsons. Worth every penny!
I've made huge progress in my summerhouse mission today.
Very pleased with it indeed!! :j
Can't wait til the weather improves a bit more to redo the outside.
