I found room for it by dragging everything off my work bench and scattering it all over the room to fit the oak cupboard on it. Then I pulled a hook off the wall, and a large lump of plaster came with it. Then I needed to tidy up my craft cupboard, so all that stuff was strewn everywhere too. 2 hours later my craft cupboard was neatly organised in clear plastic containers ( one pinched from the kitchen so bags of nuts etc are homeless at the moment...) There's an in tray two foot high with filing sat on the floor. Now I'll sleep on it & see if I like the new arrangement. :rotfl::rotfl:

here she is for now -

bought this little pine table on fleabay , collected it this afternoon and hubs has cut the legs shorter and my pc screen is standing on it. Very posh as my last shelf was made from a pile of paperback books and a bit of scrap wood :)

I don't know if any of you are in the Bournemouth area, but if you are or come here on holiday you should check out a place called Molly's Den. I went for the first time yesterday and it is basically two warehouses crammed full of shabby chic items, vintage and retro. I was there two hours and didn't get round all of it. There is even a cafe and play area for children.

I'd never heard of it before last week and it is only 10 mins from my house! It is on the trading estate at Knighton Heath and is open 7 days a week.

Well after seeing Chalkysoil's decoupaged lids it inspired me to finally decoupage one of the many boxes I have saved. So here it is :)

that's gorgeous, and so neat too.

I've got dozens of boxes that I've done years ago, some where I ran out of time or materials I painted with plain emulsion paint, and maybe stuck one or two pictures on. They are dotted about the office stuffed full of clutter and Found Objects. I also had a phase with tins, like the sort dried milk comes in - using self stick wallpaper borders, (found a load rtc 50p a roll). And big cardboard boxes using emulsion paint and wallpaper. And xmas storage boxes using old xmas cards ..

I have ocd hoarding of storage containers I think :rotfl:

Thankyou. I have a huge stash of decoupage pictures that I nabbed from my mum when she was having a sort out of all her old card making supplies.
I save a lots of boxes/containers if I think I can use it to store something. It doesn't nessarily get used but it gets saved lol. I love storage boxes and baskets, my mum and hubs laugh at me because I ooo and ahh over them in the shops.

sometimes, well often, I open up a big box to see what's in it, and it's full of little boxes.
