Found it! I do love my kitchen in blue and red, but need a change so it's going!
Oh man. That's gorgeous. How can you possibly improve on that!:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

Thank you - it is lovely, but it's been like it a while now and I fancy a change. Not changing everything, the wood on the walls will stay cream, just having shift around with the other bits and repainting the blue for a while. I am going to box up all the red bits so I can go back if I want to!

vicsterlou11 -It really depends on how 'white' you want it to be if you know what I mean. I have just painted pine kitchen chairs in F&B House White and I really like it, it's not a stark white, more sort of ivory, I have also used F&B New White which is slightly creamier than House White.
If you were to use Annie Sloan, Old White looks lovely when shabbied and distressed in my opinion.
Hope this helps you to decide, and good luck
I've done a dresser in AS Old white. The thing with chalk or emulsion paints is you can put a little bit of poster paint or other emulsion paint in with it and mix well and get the colour you want.
I've also mixed water based silk gloss with other paint but that's harder.
Waxing will change the colour a little bit. Occasionally I mix in a bit of dark wax (no name stuff I was given) in with clear wax to age the furniture more. The shade of white you want is up to you, I spend days angsting over colour charts and my husband says they all look the same white to him!!0 -

I see now how the red fitted in I think I am drawn to it because I have oak units and white walls and a few little red accents, bunting, a rag wreath, a little Scottie dog I made and my red ninja processor:rotfl:0 -
Pollyskettle - talking of pinterest, I've just pinned your 'old' kitchen cos I love it so!! (Hope that's in line with OS etiquette?????)Wilson the Volleyball is one of Hollywood's most loved volleyballs. His glittering career started when he became the only companion of Tom Hanks' Chuck Noland in Cast Away. Many say this is Wilson's best performance and he couldn't have given a better effort.0
