I saw this pin on image transferring via plastic sheet in a printer ...
    http://www.cantstopmakingthings.com/2010/01/all-you-need.html
decided to short cut the process and used a cut up polypocket see through envelope

had a partial result and now have a tattoo as I started with it wrong way up on the wooden box :D

  • Has anybody else had these light spots where sanding back oak? Is this the colour I should be aiming to get the whole top to look like? http://instagr.am/p/U8k__Co7m-/

I've down tooled till I can decide what to do next, maybe put some Georgian oak or danish oil on it? I was hoping for a natural wood with wax on top finish.

My latest project that I completed this morning:

    http://pinterest.com/pin/425168021041433590/

It is a recovered stool in chintzy fabric from an old nightgown that I picked up in a charity shop.

I'm really happy with it. :)

Love the stool. I am renovating the whole house this year - before we get too old for it!
