Made the curtains, sorry I had to share - I'm pleased with them, never made more than a cushion before. They are lined too!
Really pretty, well done! If you have any left over fabric you could put some panels behind the plastic in the wardrobes too, those IKEA ones look lovely done like that.0 -
I've been a lurker on this thread for a while and feel quite inspired.
Some time ago I bought a canvas wardrobe and shelf unit to act as temporary storage when we moved in to our new home:

I would like to re-use the wooden structures as it seems like a waste throw them away, in particular the wardrobe. Any ideas/suggestions?
Thanks in advance!0 -

Are you looking to find a use for the structures as is, or break them down to make something?
You could use the wood to make some nice planters for the garden or window boxes.
I'm sure the wood would come in handy. Have you thought about selling on ebay? They seem to hold their value quite well.0 -
We had a similar shelving unit and cut it down to make a potting area for our lean to conservatory.0

Thanks I didn't have any left, but was thinking of doing that becaus I hate those wardrobes (so 90's!) but I have all the bedroom furniture in that. Would I use glue or what to stick the material?0
