Its great. I have recently done my dresser in it. I'll try and post some pictures tomorrow. Its so much easier. You do need to buy the wax as well which I think was about £7.45. A little goes a long way. Hi All,
Is anyone here a member of the shabby chic cafe? I would really like to join and become a full member but it needs an administrator to approve my profile. I've been waiting for weeks and I'm itching to see the beautiful pictures. Is there any chance someone could ask if it could be done? My username is the same as on here. Thanks! There are many things in life that will catch your eye, only a few will catch your heart. Pursue those.0 -
Hi, I found some gorgeous fabric stuffed in a cupboard over the weekend and I thought Hey I would love to make bunting but I can't sew very well and have no idea where to start.... Any of you fab shabby chicekers have any advice for me.
If you ever fancy a project but are unsure - a good idea is to Google for "no sew tutorial"
For example "no sew tutorial apron"
Here are some how-tos on making easy bunting

Not sure it would go well with pastel shabby chic but I can imagine lots of chunky wicker, checks, stripes and painted signs (this one would be great! BHS have lots of nice kitchen stuff in their sale at the mo eg. this noticeboard - I bought my friend a toast rack in the same design).
Bibbitybob my mix it up sign has just arrived :j Now to find more things and get started!

That reminds me that I've been waiting for a response for months, maybe I should try again.
I've just been over & see that we need to post a certain amount of times to get approved. It won't let me post in that bit even, if anyone has any idea please.0 -

How did you manage to post please?
I've been trying to "reply to thread" but it says that I can't.
Does anyone have any suggestions please, or should I just contact the admin?
Thanks for any help or suggestions.0 -
