I managed to get a mirror frame two set of units with 5 baskets and the £2 drinks cabinet painted today, the rain came on!! I am hoping for good weather in the morning to finish it off with carnish, I spray painted the baskets lightly and pleased with the results. I bought two units with 5 baskets for my bathroom a few years ago and kicked myself for going for dark wood instead of white, so now they are white! I cant wait to get the £2 drinks cabinet into my home, it is perfect for my scrapbooks and other things I had kept in my ikea expedit unit which i sold a few weeks ago.I am determined to lose weight!:kisses3:

what sort of plaster would I need to use to make them?
Sorry not ventured back since yesterday, I did some plaster moulds years ago & bought the plaster from a craft shop where I bought the moulds, I can't remember how much it cost, I do remember though that a big bag was lots cheaper than the sheet of moulds. Really easy to do & looked really effective, I had Xmas angel ones.
If you have a craft shop close I'd ask in there.

It was this stuff. It was really easy to use, just got to remember to bump it to get the bubbles out but will probably either come with instructions or there will be some on google.0 -
Thank you so much hermum, i have saved it on my watch list along with silicone moulds, there is no local craft shops here :-( i do remember years ago a friend making a mould of all her babies feet with plaster of paris and saying it was so easy to do and I had missed the boat with that one as all my kids were born at that time!
I made shelf sitters for my bathroom today, and its all coming together with painted units and painted mirror and I am now on the hunt for a corner bathroom cabinet to shabby chic up!I am determined to lose weight!:kisses3:
