Found a fab one on ebay but OH wont do it :mad:

but it seems you dont get a matress with it..... sure i could get one cheeper, i hope x
any way thankyou to you all for inspiring yet another person and being in awe at what you do xxx
I tend to look on ebay for price comparisons as many manufacturers/shops have an ebay shop as well as a bricks and mortar shop. Also, if you pay by paypal you have more protection if things go wrong.
Don't know if it helps but this site has a clearance section. I haven't actually bought from them (ran out of money!) but they were very helpful when I made enquiries about a piece in the clearance section.

Oh I am so excited!!! I went to the auction last night, to bid on table and chairs for my friend as she had to work, was not looking forward to going as I am so broke cleared my funds to buy a new car this week!!
I seen this magagony drinks cabinet looked inside it and no shelves and thought ohh brilliant storage for my scrapbooks or fabrics the storage list is endless!
No one was interested in it and it went as low as £2!! and I got it!!! I could afford that as I had a couple of pounds in my purse!!:rotfl::rotfl:
A question ...I hope some one can help me I had seen on one of the shabby chic blogs someone painted a headboard but stuck on swags and cherubs then painted it and it was awesome!! I have been looking for something like that but can not find it... It is probably as I do not know what they are called the wooden swags or cherbubs etc..
Does anyone know what they are called or where to get them?I am determined to lose weight!:kisses3:
Weight loss so far 2 stones 6lbs!! :j:j0 -

I googled this: cherub decorative mouldings for furniture
Thought that this ebay seller has the kind of stuff you're looking for?
Here's a Cherubs and Flowers moulding.
I know nothing about this seller, just sending these as an example that came up on a google search.0 -
You can buy moulds & make them yourself from plaster, there are loads on ebay.0

I am not able to do too much at the moment due to hand No. 2 opperationbut I have been doing a little to the peg hooks I have made for my 2 DGD's bedroom
Im going to sew some little patchwork bags (mini tote's) to hang on them so they can keep their hair bands in
I need to finish painting Rebecca's I have used F&B Middleton Pink and then paint their names on them and get some slightly darker pink for the heartsI needed to see if the names would fit hense the paper
I love doing these

Now be sure not to overdo things and strain your hand! And don't even think about sewing for a few days!
Wishing you a swift recovery.
@irishgirl, I know that the mouldings cost a fair bit, but if you were thinking of a bed head (for example) the mouldings would be fairly vulnerable, and I'm not sure plaster would last well in terms of chips - these (well the cherub anyway, I didn't check out everything) are made of resin, so should be stronger. For mirrors or anything decorative on the wall I imagine plaster would be fine.
Here's my google for you: plaster of paris moulds I've never used plaster of paris, so I don't know how easy it is. A friend of ours used to make chess sets from resin back in the 70s :eek:and from what I remember the moulds for the resin were fairly expensive. He made some of his own moulds as well, and the stuff to make the moulds wasn't cheap either. Of course this is so long ago now that things may well have changed, and of course there wasn't the internet back then to look for cheaper alternatives to the one specialist place one had managed to find out about.
I saw that bed head you mentioned too, it looked fantastic.Have you found one to shabby up? Do share photos when you do.
