The only way I can think of for that is to use left overs that you already have.
I finished tiling my kitchen yesterday and will hopefully grout it tomorrow. Depends how tired I am and how much time I have before I come back to work. Hi everyone
just a quick hello as Im off to work in a bit
I just wanted to show you my towel rail I have done up for my kitchen, I brought it for 99p in a CS
I painted a nasty orange pine rail with Crown breatheasy in waffle then I painted and varnished 3 little hearts I had brought off ebay and stuck them on with nomore nails. I varnished the rail too as it will (when I put it on the wall) be for putting my tea-towels on
Hi what varnish do you use ontop of the paint? does this protect the paint from stains etc? as i've been wondering this because when i painted my kitchen doors they are now stained/scrated i wonder if i do another top coat & then varnish it will protect the paint more?

I am going to paint my kitchen table and chairs but want to do the chairs each a different colour. How can i get round this without having to buy 4 different tins of paint?
could you buy a big tin of white / off white, and then use some kind of dye forthe job????
and ooooooh i love the idea of painting each of my chairs a different colour.
and although the top of my table is knackered and water splodged, i'm still not convinced about painting it....
would love apicture off anyone who has painted their table.....
can't wait to get home tonight and post a pic of some drawers i've just finished.... they're not strictly shabby chic, but they are recycled...

Well I've been bending some ears today! One a friend who has the most beautiful painted furniture and he has said if i use primer, emulsion then seal it that they'll be fine! So thats solved that. Then when in decorating shop was speaking to the guy there who also gave me loads of advice when another man (who i think i am now in love with:rotfl:) starting showing some pictures on his phone of his projects! They were amazing! And so easy! He even invited me round to go and have a look! He has used emulsion with sealant so as i have now decided he is god then thats good enough for me!!:rotfl: So i'll see what happens. If it goes wrong then I'll blame him!:)
Bought F&B 'Tallow' for my chest of drawers. Just cannot decide now what to do first!! xxIf music be the food of love then play on"No matter what happens, or how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow". ღ ~Maya AngelouDoing it for my kids. For a better secure life. x0 -

I had a play around today with a pack of acrylic paints £2.99 from the works. I also bought a large tube of white acrylic to get the pastel colours. I have tried that whole serviette thing but I could never get it right.
I am not the most talented painter but when they are varnished they should come up a treat. I haven't finished them all yet, but will post the others when finished. To make the shapes ie flower heart, I cut out a picture of one and drew round it using a pencil. The bees on the r are not finished yet, I am waiting for the yellow to dry.;)0 -

I have mixed loads of paint this way. Buy a tin of white acrylic, then go to the pound shop and buy cheap acrylic paints and mix it that way. They normally come with more than one green, blue red and if you use all of the tubes in that shade you will end up with enough for a chair.0 -
